From the first seasons, the Wings boldly entered into battle with the clubs CDKA, VVS, Dynamo, Spartak.

The first medals were won by the KS hockey players in 1950 (bronze). In 1951, the Wings of the Soviets hockey players won the USSR Cup for the first time in their history. In 1951, 1954, 1959, bronze medals were won. In 1955, 1956, 1958 Wings took silver. And in 1957, the club became the strongest in the country, ahead of the hockey players of the CSK MO by one point. top scorer The championship was the player of the COP Aleksey Guryshev (32 goals). It was the golden time of the capital club "Wings of the Soviets"

60s

In those years, "Wings of the Soviets" were in the shadows, as CSKA dominated the domestic arena. And only "Spartak" took the championship from the army club several times. But despite it's in season In 1960, Krylia won bronze medals of the Championship, defeating Lokomotiv Moscow twice with a score of 7:3 and 8:4 in the matches for 3rd place.

70s

The club again declares itself to the whole country. In the seasons of 1973 and 1978, the Wings won bronze medals, and in 1975 they won silver medals. victory in the USSR Cup. The best scorer of the USSR Championship in 1974 was Vyacheslav Anisin ("Wings of the Soviets") - 48 points. In 1975, "Wings of the Soviets" won the international cup- cup European champions. And in 1979, the CS became the owners of the prestigious Spengler Cup in Europe.

80s and 90s

From the mid-80s, the club began to experience financial problems associated with restructuring in the country, the collapse of the USSR ... However, Krylya, thanks to its gifted youth and coaching talent of head coach Igor Dmitriev, in the 1989 season, the club became the bronze medalist of the USSR Championship, as well as the owner USSR Cup and League Cup. In the last USSR Championship in 1991, Wings of the Soviets won bronze. In 1993, the KS took 3rd place in the Interethnic Hockey League. This medal is so far the last in its history ... The 1997 season was a black season in the history of the capital club from Setun - the team lost its main sponsor (the VILS plant), as well as this year, the president and head coach of the club, Igor Efimovich Dmitriev, passes away. In the late 90s, the club was relegated from the Super League for the first time in its history.

2000s

In the spring of 2001, the Wings of the Soviets returned to the Super League. However, in 2003, hockey players from Setun took the last place and flew out of the Super League. After 3 years, the club returned to the Super League again. But due to financial problems in December 2006, the club leaders leave the team. And at the end of February 2007, almost all the players of the main team left the team. After that, the “Wings of the Soviets” ended the season with the second line-up and relegated to the Major League. In the 2007/2008 season, the club owned by Alexander Tretyak owed 4.7 million rubles to the VILS plant (the plant owner of the Krylya Sovetov UDS). After that, the club played the remaining home matches in other people's ice palaces.

Club split

In the summer of 2008, Alexander Tretyak's club of the NP HC Krylya Sovetov left the Krylya Sovetov UDS for failure to fulfill its obligations to the VILS plant. After that, the Small Sports Arena Luzhniki became the home arena of the NP HC Krylya Sovetov, but in fact the club wanders around the Moscow region. Later, the club was renamed ANO PHC Krylya Sovetov, and in the early summer of 2009, Tretyakov's Krylya received a feast for at least a season, and maybe even less in the city of Podolsk, LDS Vityaz, so the team can, perhaps it would be more correct to call it "Wings of the Soviets" (Podolsk). Also in the summer, the VILS plant created its own club "MHK Krylya Sovetov." Zaderey Alexander Gennadievich became the president of the club from Setun, and Deryabin Alexander Anatolyevich, director of VILS LLC, became the vice president.

Fans

Despite this situation, connected with the split of the club into two parts, fans consider the club from Setun "MHK Krylya Sovetov-VILS" to be their home team. On average, home matches of "MHK Krylya Sovetov-VILS" in major league in the 2008/2009 season, 1000-2000 spectators attend. The matches of the Wings, which belong to Alexander Tretiak, are attended by only a few young people.

On April 27, a press conference was held in Moscow dedicated to the revival of the legendary Moscow hockey club "Wings of the Soviets", which for six years existed only as a children's sports school. Starting next season, the team will return to professional status, and it will begin playing in the Youth Hockey League with an eye to joining the KHL in three years.

The press conference was attended by Alexei Morozov, Managing Director of the Youth Hockey League and President of the Wings of the Soviets United Hockey Club, Alena Krylova, Vice President, Vladimir Krechin, Club General Director, and Deputy General Director of the Public Joint Stock Company TNS Energo Group for Administrative Support business Alexei Glushkov and managing director for non-core and distressed assets of the Rostec state corporation Alexander Nazarov.
- We have been waiting for this moment for a long time and we are glad that the Wings of the Soviets club is finally being revived. Everyone understands that our palace is too old for the KHL, so we took a short break. The team will play in the MHL next season. During this time, we will try to restore our palace, put it in order so that it meets the regulations. As has always been the case with Wings of the Soviets, we will focus on the people from the SDUSHOR. Also, we have been given the task to include the club's pupils in the coaching staff of the team, - said Alexey Morozov.
- Krylya Sovetov is a legendary, original club with a long history and a huge number of champion students, - said Vladimir Krechin, after which he introduced the coaching staff of the Krylya Sovetov youth team.
Yury Strakhov, former mentor of the Khimik youth team, has been appointed head coach. Viktor Gordiyuk and Sergey Pryakhin will help him, and Dmitry and Sergey Mylnikov will be responsible for working with goalkeepers.

Alexei Morozov noted that while playing in the Youth Hockey League, Krylya Sovetov will be affiliated with Spartak Moscow.
- If there are "stars" in the "Krylya" line-up who are ready to move to the adult level, we will be happy to let them go to "Spartak". Now we are at the stage of signing an agreement, - said the president of the club, - The main thing is that the sports school should continue to work with children. Of course, we want to join the KHL, but what we are doing is actually creating a team from scratch, so it takes time. During the absence of professional status, pupils of the school sought to move to other teams. Starting next season, we must stop this outflow, the guys will join the ranks of the MHL team, and then the KHL. The ice palace will be reconstructed. The first step is to change the boards and the old scoreboard. We know that Krylia Sovetov fans have been looking forward to this return and we urge them to support the team in the next KHL season.

The head coach of the team, Yuri Strakhov, spoke about how the squad for the next season will be formed.
- The emphasis will be placed on our pupils, these are 10-15 people. The rest will be selected from older ages. 96th year of birth will be excluded for now, we will leave it for more late deadline. The team is built from scratch, so the first year will be very difficult. Training starts on May 3, at the same time there will be a viewing session.

At the end of the press conference, Alexey Morozov assured that he would continue to combine two positions and would not leave for Ak Bars, whose management offered their former captain the position of general manager.
- Thanks to Ak Bars for the offer, but now I have other plans. I have an interesting job, there are people who stand behind me and to whom I have certain obligations. For now, I don't want to change anything, so Ak Bars rejected the offer. I wish them good luck, after all, this is a very significant team for me. The leadership of the KHL agreed to combine the two positions, so there will be no problems, and there will be enough strength for the Youth hockey league, and on "Wings of the Soviets".

The last time Wings of the Soviets were presented to Russia was in the 2010/11 season. Then Moscow's Wings of the Soviets played in the VHL, and Dmitrov's Wings of the Soviets played in the MHL.
