Chibisov ak bars. Andrey Chibisov: “I prefer outdoor sports, and football is a drag, you can fall asleep. So hockey is completely your choice.

Andrey Chibisov went to Kazan as a 22-year-old guy, whom few people knew about. The striker's first season in Kazan was somewhat crumpled. The lack of pucks caused a wave of criticism against the coaches and the player himself. The closer the playoffs of the Gagarin Cup, the more the number 76 of Ak Bars was revealed. Today Andrey is one of the "dark horses" of the upcoming knockout matches in the "leopards". Our correspondent talked to this modest but youthfully sincere hockey player before flying to today's Green Derby in Ufa. About why he came to hockey, how he perceived criticism from fans and the media, why football is a burden, and why modern girls do not suit him - in an exclusive interview with Realnoe Vremya.

“Hockey was carried away by the coach, although my mother didn’t give it anywhere”

- You have been in Kazan for a year and a half, what do you remember most from this stage of your career?

Naturally, here and the base and the conditions are very good. It is clear that in other cities there is no such thing, it is not so good in this matter. All conditions for work are created here. You can come and do whatever you want at any time. Practice the right exercises. I won't say anything special to single out. Here you spend every day as one. Games every other day, a little break, and again the games started. Therefore, there is no time to remember something. We must prepare.

- With hockey it is clear. And did Kazan surprise you with something that is not sporty?

Kazan is a very good beautiful city. There is something to see, where to go. And before the New Year it is very colorful here, so living here is very comfortable. Unlike other Russian cities.

By the way, to the topic of other cities. You yourself are from the small town of Prokopyevsk, in the Kuzbass. Tell us about your life there, how did you get into hockey? Was there an alternative?

My grandfather played hockey, and he also played football. Previously, everyone played together, they did not differentiate. Then my grandfather was a judge. From childhood, my mother always went to look at her father, and later she began to drive me. But so that she insisted "you will go to hockey" - this was not the case. Mom took me to different sections, and gave me the opportunity to make a choice. I was like swimming and boxing. Everywhere, in general.

But I stayed in hockey, I think, even more thanks to my coach, he interested me. After all, everything in children's sports depends on how the coach will interest the child - he will go there. Maybe the parents want to send him to one sport, but the child wants to go to a completely different one, because there the coach is more interested, he presents the game more interestingly. Yes, it happens that a coach brought up a bunch of stars, but there are coaches who, maybe, didn’t let anyone out, but managed to interest a child in hockey. So it all depends on the coach.

- So, hockey is completely your choice?

Yes. I remember that they even played football, I went there for a year to strengthen my legs. But then he returned to hockey anyway.

“I didn’t create idols for myself, but Jagr is something”

Most recently, you played in a team along with a few other “leopards” on the ice along with little hockey boys. Didn't you have a pleasant feeling of nostalgia for children's hockey?

No, it wasn't really nostalgia. But it's just nice when such meetings are held. After all, children look at us and want to achieve the same heights, maybe someone will succeed. And it's nice when children look like this, and you feel positive from such meetings. It doesn’t even matter if we met on the ice or just came to the children, such meetings are always pleasant.

- Did you have such meetings with idols in your childhood? Did you manage to play or at least meet them?

No. I had no idols as a child. There was no TV (laughs). I'm kidding, of course. There were simply no idols in childhood. Well, later I really liked Jagr. This is a legend. He is now 44 years old, and he is still on the ice, playing at such a level, a man with a head, a man in perfect order. It seems to me that he has always and for everyone been a legend and will be a legend. So I followed Jagr more. But, basically, I was not somehow interested, as it is now customary for children - to choose idols.

“When I moved to the adult team of Shakhtar Prokopievskiy at the age of 16, the guys there were quite positive. And we played shootouts all the time.” Photo vk.com

Before the start of the season, when there was an official acquaintance of the fans with the team, you performed an unusual shootout on a biathlon theme. Then he admitted that it had something to do with the beginning of your career. Tell in details.

Yes, when at the age of 16 I moved to the adult team of Shakhtar Prokopyevskiy, our guys there were quite positive. And we played shootouts all the time. If you lost the shootouts, then they put five pucks on the side, and you run a circle, like in biathlon, and you have to push behind the goal with one foot, or you take an emphasis while lying down and do push-ups, and this is considered as a “shot”. And someone is standing behind the side - hop, removed the puck, hop, "missed" one. We had many such funny stories.

Is it something like in football, when the loser stands with his back, and everyone aims the ball at him in the "area below the back"?

Something like that. To make it more interesting to play, there was an additional goal - to score, and it was better for the goalkeeper to stand.

“I didn’t set myself the task of getting into Ak Bars. Played for myself"

Tell your success story. Already at the age of 22 you got into the best and most titled at that time KHL team. Did you imagine that everything would turn out like this when you played with the peasants in Prokopyevsk as a boy?

To be honest, I didn’t even have thoughts that I would get there somewhere. I just had a desire to play hockey. Therefore, I even played not only for the team of my year, but also for the senior team, for example. It was just a desire to play. And so, in order to get somewhere there, as it is now “Oh, we must, we must!”, No. I just trained, I wanted to look better at first in my children's team, then when I got to the men, I looked at them, I wanted to look better than them. Because already went to Tyumen to view. I think: “Damn, they play even better here, we have to try.” They play differently so why can't I? So, little by little, I somehow got here.

- That is, how did hockey not perceive work? More like a personal hobby?

There has never been such a thing that you need to get somewhere. On the contrary, everything was modest. People play like that there, but I'm not at that level yet. Still grow and grow.

- Wasn't there a surge of emotions when your agent told you that you are now in Ak Bars?

No, again there were such thoughts: “Me and Ak Bars”. There, people are stars, and I’m a guy from somewhere in the outback, from Prokopyevsk.” Naturally, it is not easy, that was the first impression.

- And what did your parents say when they found out that you were going to Ak Bars?

Mom was at my place when the agent called. Well, what will she say? We have to keep trying, keep playing.

“I didn’t pay attention to the criticism of the fans”

When you first arrived, there was some pretty harsh criticism of your performance throughout the first season. Yes, and the press "helped". Like, they took the striker, but there are no pucks. How did you deal with it?

Didn't pay attention, that's all. Criticism, of course, is always needed. I always ask the coach at training, even as a child, what's wrong? They explain to me, I start working on it. Naturally, if people who have played say something to me, I normally perceive it. On the contrary, I endure positive emotions, I understand that I need to work. And if this is criticism from people who have never played hockey, or who don’t even know what hockey is from the inside ... Not like “I’ve been playing hockey for seven years”, and you ask them something on tactics, they ask “what is it like that?" They need a main drawing. They don't see hockey from the inside. And what is the point of taking something from such criticism? Helpful criticism is needed. Even recently, in my opinion, Jagr said: “Now, if the puck doesn’t go, at least how many chances you create, it won’t go anywhere.” The time has come, and the pucks have appeared.

Helpful criticism is needed. Even recently, in my opinion, Jagr said: “Now, if the puck doesn’t go, at least how many chances you create, it won’t go anywhere.” The time has come and the pucks have appeared

- Do you read the sports press, did you look at what they write about you?

I don't really read or pay attention, I'm not interested in it. I'm more interested in what coaches will tell me, what people who really know hockey will tell me. It is better to go to work once again than to read.

- And what did Bilyaletdinov say? Cheered?

Yes, he didn’t say anything, he just said “do your job, do your task.” There was no pressure, only support.

- And what do you think, it was the psychological moment that prevented the pucks from opening the scoring?

Yes, to be honest, I have no idea. There were many chances, but the goals never came.

- And when you gave up for the first time in the pre-season in Nizhny Novgorod, did you have an idea that now you will trample?

I prepared in the summer, worked on weaknesses that needed to be improved. There was no such “Woah, scored!”. I just did my thing. After all, in that season there was no time to work on it, and in the offseason I worked for this.

“The Tatar-Bashkir dispute is for the fans. We have clear instructions from the coach.”

- How did you adapt to the new 3v3 overtime format? You seem to be pretty confident with them.

When playing 3 on 3, there is still more space. And if you are an individually strong player and can beat 1 vs 1, then the other team, of course, starts to panic, and there are very dangerous moments. So I think 3 by 3 is maybe the best option. All the same, we will not have such spectacular hockey as in the NHL. All of them are focused on attack. They can also have a defender run away, they can fall out two to zero, reverse three to zero attack.

- But did the team work out new overtimes when they found out about the transition?

No. Once upon a time it was easy to work out. When they said, there were seven games every other day, then five games again. Everything just sort of went on. We played 3 on 3 at the training camp, so we remembered quickly.

Ufa is ahead of you. Is there a special mood in the team for these matches? Or is the Green Derby still more of a fundamental moment for the fans?

Yes, I think it's more for the fans. We have our own tasks that are set for us. We need to roll in now, play, so as not to stumble later. Yes, maybe the fans always have their own Tatar-Bashkir dispute. But for us it is an ordinary game that must be won. I think for them too.

Has not Salavat Yulaev already become some kind of irritant inside the team? Really, the matches with them did not set the teeth on edge? How many times offensively inferior, leading in the long run, only this season!

There's no such thing. We do not have such a super-task, blood from the nose to win. Like the fans, for sure. We have clear, strict instructions from the coach, and we need to follow them. But, of course, you need to win any matches. Therefore, we go out, tune in, as we would for any team.

- Do you have any teams on your personal “black list” that you go out with a special attitude?

In general, there are no weak teams and strong ones. It all depends on the mood with which you go out, and you can beat any team. The main thing here is not how you are alone, but how the team will tune in. If the team will be one fist, then it doesn’t matter at all what kind of opponent it is. You can beat the strong today, lose the weak tomorrow.

Now it is already clear that there is not enough motivation for the rest of the regular season. Are you ready for the playoffs in the team?

Getting ready. Everyone understands that the playoffs are a game without the right to make a mistake. Now there was such a period, everyone worked very well, now there are games to roll into. You say you lack motivation. On the contrary, everyone will tune in to roll into decisive games and go normally along the way. Still, there was a break. And breaks are always annoying. Therefore, we must now take everything in hand and play normally.

In general, there are no weak teams and strong ones. It all depends on the mood with which you go out, and you can beat any team. The main thing here is not how you are alone, but how the team will tune in

“I don’t think about the NHL, there is an agent for that. My job is to work."

- You play on a line with our candidates for the national team. What are your ambitions for this?

No, in the national team, of course, everyone wants to play. Ask any player, he will say that he wants to join the national team. But then again, it's all about the work, how you will work. It all depends on you how you will show yourself. My job is to raise my bar higher, and maybe there will be such a chance to go there. All the same, after all, the team is something more. It's one thing to play for a club, a republic. Another thing is for Russia.

- And are you ready to go to the Eurotour, to which even the fans are skeptical?

I am for it". Watch, play. And how to get to the World Cup? Naturally, the Eurotour is a kind of selection, as you show yourself there, it will go further.

- We found out about the team. Do you have ambitions for the NHL?

Such a task is not directly worth it. As it is meant to be, so it will be. We must work here and now, and not think about the future. We need to improve our business, and whether there will be proposals - this is already time to tell. In terms of who is interested or not interested there, I never know anything, I have an agent for this, whom I hired, let him deal with all these headaches. My job is to work here on the ice. Let him solve all other problems.

“On vacation, I rested for a couple of weeks, and then you just can’t do without training and hockey”

- How did you join the team? There are a lot of such tough guys in the team. And you are quite simple, positive.

Yes, they are all simple. The team is very good here, everyone is for each other. Positive. There are no such unpleasant people here. Therefore, it was easy to join the team.

- And with whom do you usually spend more time, communicate?

Yes, in different ways. Out of 365 days, we are probably 250 with each other, we are like one big family. We are more in the team, in the dressing room than at home. It is clear that some kind of reboot is always needed, to rest. When you are in the same team for a long time, the same thing becomes boring. This is why rest is done so that everyone unloads and then comes with new emotions and strength, goes through the pre-season and enters the season normally.

How do you spend those rare moments of free time? In Kazan there is a place to relax.

In different ways, like the last time, I traveled for a month with the second team (Chibisov played in the VHL as part of Bars, - approx. ed.). You will come, we were given two days off, and the hunt is just to lie down at home so that no one pulls anywhere. And so he went back and forth, for a whole month where he had not been. And then go somewhere else? No. I just want to lie down, go to the pool, swim, go to the bathhouse ... Just restore my strength. Because both emotionally and physically trips draw out forces more than when you play home games.

- What do you do on vacation? Immediately home, to your native Kuzbass?

Yes. First, with my family - with my sister and mother, we fly somewhere to warmer climes to relax. And then you arrive and you just can’t live without hockey. It's already automatic. All my life I worked according to this routine, I got used to having to go to train. So you can't live without it. Go to football, play volleyball. A little more time will pass, you are already starting to train yourself. You can't, your body just needs it. A couple of weeks off is enough.

“Now the girls are not doing anything, they are bored. I don't need this goodness."

- And about football. You, it seems, were fond of going to football games back in Tyumen. Do you go to Rubin here?

No, I don't go to football here. I don't really like to watch it. And you can play. Play with the men in the summer, for example. We have hockey players there who have played football for many years. And so, in order to play outside the city, they offer “let's show up”, I do not refuse. In terms of reason, of course. Because you can't get hurt.

And so we often go to basketball, to UNICS. True, this year has never been. To Zenit, to volleyball too. And somehow it doesn’t pull on football. It's kind of annoying. I like more mobile sports so that when you look, your head works. And there, on football, you can fall asleep.

We often go to basketball, to UNICS. True, this year has never been. To Zenit, to volleyball too. And somehow it doesn’t pull on football

- Among your fans there is a bias towards the female half. Did you meet your fate among them?

No, I didn't find (laughs).

- Why?

Girls are interested. But a wife must be a wife. Yes, you can walk with some, something else with others. But the spouse should be like a best friend - both in fire and in water, so that there are no secrets, everything is as it is. And now there are few of them. Basically, now the girls are just not doing anything and they are bored. If, for example, I come home all tired, and she spent the whole day at home, slept there, sat on the Internet - these are the girls now. And so she sat at home all day, she needs to get emotions from somewhere. Where does she get them from? From me, of course. It is necessary that the girl was doing something, was versatile. Yes, a girl should be beautiful, I agree, but for her to just sit all so beautiful, like a statue, I don’t need such kindness either. Let her be just a sweet and well-groomed girl, but be with a soul.

“You’re just thinking, as if you’ve already been wiser by experience. Burnt on these?

No, more on someone else's experience. With friends from the team we often communicate and discuss.

- And finally. Your message to the fans before the final matches of a smooth season and playoffs.

Let them come and support their favorite team. When their stands are really actively shouting, and not like they are sitting in the theater, and only one sector is shouting - then you also have a surge of emotions, your legs are already running by themselves. It's much easier to play that way. Let them get sick, let them not spare their voices. How are we? If with strong team play, then get sick actively. And if the team won by one goal from the middle part of the table, they don’t like it.

- The public in Kazan is spoiled.

Naturally, a high-class team. I won the Gagarin Cup twice, so the expectations are high.

“To be honest, I never thought that I would play in big club. I played for myself, ”admits Andrey Chibisov. Last season, the striker, whom no one knew before moving to Kazan, was not criticized only by the lazy. However, this season Chibisov is one of Ak Bars' discoveries. In an interview with BUSINESS Online, the player told how he arrived in Tyumen without a uniform and did not believe the words of the agent about moving to Kazan, as well as about poverty in his native Prokopyevsk and much more.

"MATCH-FIXING IN HOCKEY IS FANTASTIC"

– Andrew, pDid the last defeats emotionally hit the players in some way?

Every defeat is emotional. There is some slight decline, but better now than just before the playoffs. Now is the time to rethink everything, prepare and approach important matches in optimal condition.

Is the explanation for these defeats a lack of motivation?

- No, I do not agree. There was motivation, just in those matches everything flew into our gates: in Nizhnekamsk, in the first and third shifts, they immediately scored, with Lada it was the same. It cannot be said that we were relaxed, with Lada, in general, everyone fought to the end - they scored all sorts of nonsense for us after stupid mistakes.

Someone is talking about match-fixing.

- So say those who do not know the whole system. They think that someone can take and agree, but hockey is such a game where it is impossible. Only the strongest wins here.

That is, there are no contractual matches in hockey?

- This is just unreal. And in football, I think, this is not the case. As long as I have been in sports, I know that all this talk is fantastic.

Another question is that the players in these matches could save themselves and give all the best, risking injury before the playoffs...

– Not even close to such thoughts. Everyone was ready and wanted to win. On the contrary, if you start to feel sorry for yourself, put the idea that you can get injured, then you will definitely get it. There was just a little emotional downturn. In hockey, without it, nowhere. Now there are three matches ahead with strong opponents ( the interview was recorded before the game withSalavat Yulaev,ed.) , which will help us return to the playing tone, move forward without stumbling.

Are there any downsides to such a long break?

- Someone is already tearing up and throwing, fighting for the playoffs. And everything is going smoothly with us - we have secured ourselves in third place, we are waiting for an opponent, but when you are always in good shape, it is easier. Breaks sometimes fail.

Will three matches be enough to get back into the rhythm of the game?

“I think we can get back on track. We still have serious teams in the contenders, all the games are on the road - it will be more difficult to play.

“WHEN I ARRIVED IN TYUMEN, I WAS SHAME TO GO IN THE LOCKER ROOM”

True or not, but they said that at some point you could finish hockey.

- There was a moment when at the age of 16 I played in the adult team of Shakhtar. We had a strict coach there. At one of the training sessions, everyone was sloppy, but you can’t yell at old people, so he ran into me and kicked me off the ice. I thought to myself and decided that I would go to study. For four days he did not appear at the palace at all. Then he passed by, met the coach. He asks why I don't go to practice. He says he kicked me out only from training, not from hockey. And how did I know? I was afraid to ask myself. Modesty let me down then.

Were you in school at that time?

No, at the technical school.

Shakhtar, after all, played in the RHL - amateur league. How is life there?

- No way. Everything is very simple - before Ak Bars, as before space. With the form of the problem, you play in the same until the skates are worn to the skin. You rejoice if they give out something from the form of three years ago. They will give you a stick - you take care of it like a gold one. It's very hard there right now. The children's school has nothing, the children play in whatever they want. Well, if the parents have the opportunity to acquire something from the form, and if not, then the children just finish. It doesn’t matter if you are talented or not, you will be forced to leave hockey. It seems that the Kemerovo region is coal, the whole of Moscow is powered by us, but what is the output? Moscow thinks that our people earn well, but in reality, they earn a penny.

Does the club belong to the city?

Yes, funding comes from there. I just don't know where all the investments go. After all, our coal industry is huge: cuts, mines. And we love hockey - there was a full palace at RHL matches. But, alas, they ruin it all. Soon people will have nowhere to go.

What is hockey like in Prokopyevsk?

- Hockey has always been with us, just few have heard of it. You have a huge school in Kazan, all the resources, but there is none of that. But people, coaches, the principal of the school are doing their best to save hockey. Thanks to them for this. I was lucky that we had a coach who himself played on high level gave us a lot. But the level, of course, is not the same, even when compared with the VHL. I remember when I came to see Rubin, it started like that...

What?

- It seems that he always worked physically hard, paid attention to this. And when I arrived there, I realized that I still had to work and work. And yet tactically it was necessary to catch up with everything. It was very difficult for me. And in general, someone believes that each such step up depends on luck. Like, I got lucky. There is no such thing as lucky or unlucky. You need to work, die for your cause, only then, maybe, something will work out.

Photo: vk.com

What motivated you to move forward?

- To be honest, I never thought that I would play in a big club, like now. Played for myself, I liked it. It happens that you come to training in the morning and work out all day first with your age, then with three others. Constantly in the rhythm of the game - cool, you don’t think about anything else. When I was 17 years old, Shakhtar and I won the first league, the next season I was invited to try out in Tyumen.

Surprised?

- Very. Bought a ticket, packed my things. Then I thought to myself: “Where did I come from?”. There is no form, there is nothing. It was embarrassing to go into the locker room. And I was not even interested in what kind of club. Just before the trip I opened the Internet, I look - they are in the first place. I thought, well, everything, kapets - where am I going? Then he began to train - one training session, the second. The coach comes up to me, Miskhat Fakhrutdinov, says that it’s not bad for the first day. Anyway, he didn't say anything more. I was getting ready to be sent back. And then the team manager came up and said that the club was interested in me.

Did you end up signing a contract?

- Right away - no, Shakhtar's president didn't let me go. Then, when the contract ended, he returned to Tyumen, went with the team to the training camp. At the training camp, at least I understood where I ended up, I adapted more or less.

Some money, probably, began to receive ...

- Shakhtar also had a salary, albeit a small one. I remember I received five thousand - joy. I immediately ran to my mother and gave it to her. Young people need money, and my mother invested in me all her life.

Did you feel the difference in everyday life?

- Certainly. Completely different level. Before the game they will feed, trips, though on buses, but on good ones. I remember when I returned to Tyumen after the training camp, I didn’t have a uniform. The receptionist approached me and asked what sizes I needed. I come back in an hour, and he takes me out a whole trunk with a uniform. Unusual. I'm used to playing in the same game until it's all erased.

“IN PROKOPIEVSK WE ALL HELP AND SUPPORT EACH OTHER. IN BIG CITIES NOT SO »

The famous kickboxer Alexei Ulyanov said: "Chibisov is a star, the whole city knows him." This is true?

- No, what kind of star am I? There is no such thing as someone passing by and saying: "Wow, this is Chibisov." We've all known each other for a long time. Sometimes in the summer we get together with the guys: who will come from the tower, who will come from the MHL, KHL - there are a hundred of us there. We meet with boxers or Thais in general every Thursday, we play football - hockey players against boxers. We have a very friendly city, we support each other everywhere and always. Here and in big cities in general, everything is different.

Why?

“Probably depends on the people. There, we all try to help each other, if one has a problem, then everyone will fuss, start helping. It doesn't matter if you're a hockey player or a boxer. In this regard, we try to treat each other humanely. Usually it happens: you have a problem, you ask for help, but the person does not understand why he should help you.

Are you hinting that the city is spoiled?

- Maybe. Moscow is still nearby. Here pathos is very important for people, to appear in front of others. If everything is fine with you, everyone is nearby, they will gather, rest, and if a problem happens, everyone is in the shade. We don’t have much money in Prokopyevsk, and they don’t matter. In the first place are human relations, mutual assistance. Today you can have everything, and tomorrow - nothing, but you must remain a man.

How did you get into hockey? As far as we know, there are only fighters in Prokopyevsk.

- Hockey has always been there, they love it. We have always had talented players. I'll tell you a secret: there was such a player Zhiganov, he was invited to Moscow for a shootout competition, Tretyak played at the gate. He scored nine out of ten for him, and once the puck came off the stick, and then he says: “Yes, where have I seen your hockey like that,” and left. Then everything was hushed up, as if there was no competition at all, so as not to disgrace. There are talents, but people see that there are no prospects and they just end up.

From your age someone else has made their way in big hockey?

– Yes, Andrey Sigarev, who is in Khabarovsk now. Younger - Vovka Butuzov from Siberia. Sergey Korostin won the youth world championship. Every year, one or two people appear.

Why so many eminent fighters from Prokopyevsk?

- If you were born in Prokopievs, you are already a fighter ( smiling). There is such a contingent, although now it is calmer, but still four years ago: show-offs, concepts, colloquial vocabulary. There you immediately go through the school of life.

Has it affected you in any way?

- It affected everyone. It happens that you play yard against yard, and the next day you fight wall to wall with the same yard.

Was there no risk of going down the wrong path?

It all depends on upbringing, I think. My mother never forbade me anything, but when the guys went to smoke behind the garages, I stayed to mint the ball. And if all this was not explained to a person in childhood, they were not laid, then at least tie it with chains, he will still find dirt. I have always tried to avoid all these things.

Have you frequented the fight halls?

- No, although the local coaches were constantly called. I don’t know, since childhood it somehow went that I don’t like to give in to anyone. I don’t like it when they do something stealthily on the ice - I immediately get angry. You start playing hard right away so that a person understands that you can’t do this.

It turns out, apart from hockey, did you do anything else?

- At the technical school, I didn’t do anything, the whole wall was in medals. He played football and volleyball for the technical school - he worked out the passes that accumulated due to hockey. Although I passed the exams and tests absolutely by myself, it was impossible to buy anything. In volleyball, even the region won twice. By athletics three times won the long jump.

“WHEN THE AGENT REPORTED ABOUT AK BARS, ASKED: “DID YOU DRINK WHAT”?”

Did everyone calmly react to the fact that the guy from Prokopyevsk moved to Ak Bars?

- I will say that we have Thais here, boxers - world and European champions, famous people. Nobody was surprised. I remember when I was in Khanty-Mansiysk, the agent calls me and asks: "Are you standing or sitting?" I thought he meant whether I play in the next match or not. I don’t know, I say, the composition is still unknown. And he meant literally. Then he asks me again, I do not understand anything. He told me: "Pack your things, take your documents, that's it - you are an Ak Bars player." We have friendly relations with the agent, I immediately told him: “Are you drunk or what?”. Did not believe. By the way, he never tells me who is interested in me, usually he already informs me in fact.

What was your reaction?

- I thought to myself: “Damn, what kind of Ak Bars? Who needs me there? One hundred percent joke." Yushkevich, who was also in Khanty-Mansiysk then, called me and told me not to worry. He supported me, reassured me, said that this was a step forward, we had to do our job.

Have you calmed down?

- I was more worried that the system there is different, whether I will be able to join the team or not, whether I will be able to fulfill the coaching task. But after talking with him, I calmed down a bit.

The first time, when you ended up at Ak Bars, didn’t your eyes pop out of your forehead from all the infrastructure?

- In Yugra, the players were skillful and Yushkevich himself made conditions close even to the NHL. Yes, there was no such base as in Kazan, but everything else in terms of life was also on the level. When I went to Kazan, I was told that Ak Bars give young people a chance, the main thing is not to miss it. At some certain moment you just start to get lucky, maybe I was lucky with Ak Bars, but this luck will always not be with you, you need to compensate for it with work. And if you think that you have caught a bird of happiness and it will drag you - no, this will not happen.

What surprised you the most in Ak Bars?

- I was surprised that they immediately put me in the squad, I played several matches. They wanted to bet on the game even earlier, but I myself approached the coaches, said that I had not played for a long time - I asked them to let me go to Bars. They were sympathetic, I played one match for the youth team, and then I made my debut against Vityaz. Everything at once was somehow excellent, I felt support, when you feel it, you want to give all the best.

They say, on the contrary, Zinetula Bilyaletdinov does not trust young people.

- It all depends on you, how you will perform the game task, give all the best on the ice. There are recessions, after which they insert the first number. Sometimes, on the contrary, you work, plow, you seem to be doing everything right, but it doesn’t work. At such moments, you need the coach to prompt. It helps.

Many fans and journalists did not understand your transfer to Ak Bars. A young striker, someone else's pupil, although there is Bars at hand with a whole bunch of their players.

– You know, criticism is useful. It is necessary to filter simply - is it healthy or not. If healthy, then something can be taken out of it. And if they just shout something, insult, then there is no need to react at all. From childhood I was taught to take something positive out of everything. It happens that a fan goes to matches for seven or eight years, thinking that he knows everything. But he does not know the whole process from within. Especially if the person has never played before. For example, I constantly call my former coaches, I ask if they have seen my matches, I ask you to tell me somewhere. There is nothing like this.

You heard all these conversations: “Why did you sign who he is?”

You still could not score for a long time. Pressed?

- I can’t say that it was pressing, because there were chances, I created. Take Jagr, he recently said that if the puck does not go into the goal, you even smash your head against the side, it will not go in. Anything can happen: someone is a technical forward, fast, give him the puck - he will immediately score. Someone fights more, scratches out this very puck for partners. I was not angry with myself at that moment, on the contrary, I tried to create more, to help partners. Timkin also failed to score last season, but in the final he came out in the seventh match and scored two goals. Everything is king.

That is, do you agree that you are a striker of a different plan, whose goal is not to score?

- Yes, but that does not mean that I should forget about the goals. I give my best in every episode, I try to do better for myself and my partners. If there is a moment, of course, I will try to use it.

- ABOUTwhere did the tactical understanding of hockey come from? You were never taught this.

- Don't know. But as a child, I was always taught to play the pass, then, when I grew up, I realized that I needed to see the field, my partners, in order to give a good pass. And as for some tactical moments, I tried to just listen to everything they say. A person is able to absorb everything into himself, like a sponge.

What kind of hockey does Ak Bars play?

- Systemic. Many do not have this, they go out on the ice and do what they want. I heard that they are talking about some kind of rollback, but there is no such thing here. Yes, we play defensively carefully, we immediately try to eliminate mistakes, but, again, this is a systemic approach.

“THEY ARE BUILDING SHOPPING CENTERS, BUT WHO NEED THEM IF THERE IS NO MONEY?”

The population of Prokopyevsk is getting smaller every year. Is it because of the low standard of living?

- Yes, they are leaving for Novokuznetsk, Novosibirsk - there are more prospects there, there is work. We only have mines and car building here, there is no salary. There are no prospects for young people. I can’t say that the city is gray - there are places to walk, alleys, a shopping center. But who needs all this if there is no work. Poverty.

Is it fair that the miners, each time risking their lives, receive a penny?

- Earlier, at the beginning of the 2000s, our miners received a lot of money. They could receive a salary, and then fly to Moscow for two weekends, relax and spend everything there. Now there is no such thing. The commission comes from Moscow, according to the papers they are shown that the miners receive a lot of money, but in reality - a penny. Even if the miners start to resent, they are simply told that we will fire you, look for another job. And where to go? No choice.

And athletes should receive 50-100 times more than miners?

- I do not know what to answer. Previously, they received more, but now a penny - everyone still has families, children, loans. Really feel sorry for the people. I don’t know what happened, because earlier even ordinary tunnellers received 50 thousand. Now there are no mines as such, they are unprofitable - only cuts. When they come out of there, they have a red light on the lantern - it shows the level of methane. You know, if it is elevated, then any spark can lead to an explosion. So they go out - they have this lamp constantly red, that is, people go to work and do not know whether they will come back or not. You look at them - it's a pity, they get such toxins there. Respirators don't help at all. It's all up to the directors. It won't go without a trace.

Where do athletes your age spend their money? You live at the base, the club feeds you, clothes you.

I can't answer for others, I don't know. A career is also not eternal - you need to save something, think about the future.

Cars, phones?

- I have a car to change, I’ll drive it for four or five years, maybe I’ll change it. Someone changes every month, year - I don't understand it. Someone changes phones every day, I don’t have that. I went through the past for more than six years, it somehow functioned there. All these iPhones are constantly changing, but they have one main function - to call, to keep in touch. People are chasing after all this, even if there is no money for life, they are ready to give the last for their “Wishlist”.

But it's like that everywhere now.

– Yes, in Europe 85 percent of people respond to advertising and marketing. If they see something new, they go to buy it. Around us, for example, the seventh iPhone did not have such a stir as there. There were huge queues.

Our standard of living is lower.

- The fact is that people there react like zombies to advertising. Therefore, it is easier for them to start a business, they removed advertising - and that's it, you sit, waiting for customers.

We have people giving their last money for iPhones. Is it better?

- Of course not. Again, I don't understand this. A man takes out a loan just so everyone can see that he has a cool phone. He will be faced with a choice - live well for a month, eat well, or buy a phone with the last money, then survive the whole month - and he will choose the second. Not all are like that, but many are. I saw a neighbor’s car, I also need one, I don’t have money, but I do have a loan. For what? Save up, live to the best of your ability.

Did Kazan make a strong impression after Prokopyevsk?

- A beautiful city, yes. As soon as I arrived here, the thought could not get out of my head: why is it so beautiful in Kazan, where there is oil, so many parks, the embankment - everything is for people, children. But why is Prokopyevsk, where there is so much coal, not the same? People don't see anything there, what are the children to blame for? The mines were closed, but shopping centers are open. And what is their meaning when there is no money? Just a cover for the city.

For example, people do not go to the Forge at all, but millions are spent on the club. Is all this necessary if your people are in poverty?

- The point is not how many millions are given to the Forge. There is money for everything, enough for people. It’s just that there is a certain group of people for whom everything is always not enough, they cannot calm down. All to yourself.

“TODAY YOU ARE IN A WARM BATH, WHERE TOMORROW?”

They said that last summer you practically did not rest - you trained all the time.

- I don’t rest much, because I just can’t rest, I constantly have to move. The body is used to constant stress. I can go somewhere for a week to relax with my mother, sister, but no more. In Prokopyevsk, I play football all day long in the summer, go out on the ice, volleyball somewhere on the beach. Sometimes you run so much in a day that after training during the season you don’t get so tired. This summer I worked more on endurance, I started running cross-country. Before the season every other day I ran ten kilometers.

They say it's important for a hockey player to be a player.

- In the summer I live in the football-hockey-football mode, it used to come home at 12 o'clock at night. We have nowhere to go there - there are almost no clubs and restaurants, so we constantly drive the ball with the boys. You get up in the morning, you think you’re tired, you have to stay at home, and after a couple of hours there’s nothing to do - either to the gym or again to football ( smiling). This time they even invited me to yoga.

Yoga?

- Yes, I once went with boxers - I won’t come again.

Hard?

- Very. It seems to be just a stretch, but it is there such that every muscle is being worked out. After this trip, I realized how wooden ( smiling), there the grandmothers next to me did this.

Did you grow up without a father?

Yes, I have never seen him in my life. Maybe it's even for the best, my mother in our family is the head of everything. It seems to me that she knows everything that you don’t ask her - she will always give any advice. She always did a lot for my sister and me, got out, although at that time there were big problems with money. We were never hungry, I remember when kinder surprises first appeared - we had the whole sideboard in these toys. It is now that women are bothering: they say, there is no money, I need a man who will help.

As a child, was it hard without men's advice in hockey?

- I had a grandfather who went to almost all training sessions, constantly advised something, helped. Mom was more supportive. And so, I did not notice the absence of my father, if in childhood I had to fix something, change a light bulb - I already did all this myself then.

Do you feel like the head of the family?

“I have always felt it. As a child, I tried never to take money from my mother, saved somewhere, brought everything home. I did not understand how a man can take money from a woman, especially from my mother.

The current generation is more spoiled in this regard.

- Especially in big cities, where there is always work, part-time jobs - go earn money - I don’t want to.

Now there is no feeling that you are in a warm bath? Ak Bars, contract, money.

- No. Today you are in a warm bath, but where tomorrow? You need to constantly be in good shape, grow. You want your family and friends to be happy for you. The question is not even about motivation, because at some point it may not be. The main thing is to be honest with yourself, not to dishonor your family.

Is there an understanding that Ak Bars is perhaps your only chance to break into people?

- What in Prokopyevsk, what in Tyumen, what in Kazan, I never thought about it. I do my job, and then - as it turns out. Life is unpredictable, you never know where it will lead you. The main thing is to do your job. At any age, it all depends on the person.

DOSSIER "BUSINESS Online"
Andrey CHIBISOV
Role: attack
Date of Birth: February 26, 1993
Place of Birth: Prokopyevsk
Player career: Shakhtar (Prokopievsk) - 2010 - 2013; Rubin (Tyumen) - 2013 - 2015; Yugra (Khanty-Mansiysk) - 2014 - 2015; Ak Bars (Kazan) - since 2015.
In the KHL he played 139 games, scored 29 (9+20) points.

Chibisov came to Ak Bars in 2015 from the Khanty-Mansiysk Yugra, where in total he scored 11 points (4 + 7) in 47 games with a total utility indicator of -20. Andrey's arrival at the club caused great indignation among the Ak Bars fans. In the first season, Everest from criticism fell upon the attacker over and over again. And I must say that the criticism is justified. Chibisov was taken to a "rough" job, which he then could not cope with. Sometimes there was a feeling that Chibisov was afraid to even hold a stick in his hands. What can we say about the joints, the fight for the puck, and even more so about the threat of the opponent's goal. As a result, Andrei finished the season as one of the team's worst forwards.

In the summer, the unexpected happened - Chibisov became top scorer Ak Bars in pre-season. No one could have foreseen such an outcome. 6 points (2+4) in 9 matches against the background of the same 6 points in the last "regular season" for as many as 37 games - this is powerful! Together with the bombardier qualities, his main ones also improved. Match after match, Chibisov played more confidently in the selection, pressing. Many could not believe their eyes. It would seem that a hopeless player suddenly began to almost unmistakably perform a large amount of work, and from time to time he also creatively created something in attack. Season 16/17 Chibisov finished with a solid fourth. Perhaps his main quality was a great game in the selection. Chibisov won most of the martial arts. In addition, it was very difficult for him to scratch the puck.

This season, Andrei did not slow down, and it seemed that he began to play better again. In the top three with Vladimir Tkachev and Stanislav Galiev, Chibisov looked almost the best. Galiyev was not visible on the ice at all, Tkachev constantly played with himself, only Chibisov stood out with his already signature selection, pressure and sharpness at the gate. It could be said that the striker has become a very versatile player. However, all "rainbow" on it comes to an end. Chibisov played 6 games and then relegated to the VHL. Why? No one knew. Bilyaletdinov said that he needed to get in shape (ha-ha-ha). Chibisov played 14 games for Bars, in which he scored 5 goals and gave 3 assists and is now heading to Metallurg.

Undoubtedly, this transition will be useful for Andrey. After the arrival of Rob Klinkhammer, the way back to the second link is closed to him. Trinity Glinkin - Popov - Glukhov Bilyaletdinov will not change (now the injury of Popov and Azevedo intervened), only the 4th link remains, in which players and the untouchable Lukoyanov often change. And let's be honest - Andrei has no place in the fourth line, and certainly not in the VHL. Chibisov played at least the third link. One could try him in place of Azevedo, where Glukhov is playing now. So even, probably, it would be more correct. But Azevedo was out for 2 months and sooner or later Chibisov would have been sent back to Bars. So his departure from the team was highly anticipated. We are expecting and sad. Chibisov for these 3 incomplete seasons became his own. Largely because of his progress and diligence. I don’t remember that we had newcomers who grew so noticeably in terms of play. On the contrary, more often they “faded out”. For this I respect him. Hardworking players are always worth their weight in gold. Yes, and personally Chibisov is a good guy. It's a pity to lose such a player. It remains only to wish him good luck in Metallurg and further success!
