Konstantin Barulin was born on September 4, 1984 in the city of Karaganda, the Republic of Kazakhstan. Since childhood, the guy was very fond of playing sports, and therefore the parents sent the boy to hockey. At first, Barulin did not stand out from his peers, but this continued until the young athlete played "in the field." Once the coach put Konstantin on the gate and at that moment decided the fate of the young athlete. Kostya liked standing at the gate so much that Barulin connected his future life with this role.

Thanks to the rapid progress of the hockey player began to be considered one of the most talented in his generation. The goalkeeper spent his childhood and youth in Kazakhstan, but he began to play hockey professionally in Russia. At the age of seventeen, the goalkeeper joins the Tyumen Gazovik. From that moment begins the adult career of a young talent.

From 2001 to 2003 Konstantin Barulin played for his first professional team"Gasman". In 2002, Barulin went to the World Championship for the junior team, where he took second place. Konstantin played three games in that tournament. In two fights, he did not miss the puck. With his confident game, the young man attracted the attention of several big clubs. As a result, Barulin spent the 2004/2005 season as part of the St. Petersburg SKA. Konstantin did not become a stable base player and occasionally played for the second team. In the end, he returned to Gazovik again, where he finished the championship to the end. At that time, the athlete was only twenty years old, and the goalkeeper is still one of the most promising hockey players in the country.

The next season for the young goalkeeper began in the form of the capital's Spartak. Here, Konstantin also did not stay long and already in 2006 he moved to Khimik Mytishchi. In this team, the athlete showed his best side, and even won several trophies. A confident game as part of Khimik led to the fact that in 2008 Barulin became a player in one of the most titled clubs in Russia - CSKA. As part of the army, Konstantin spent two good season and in 2010 he returned to Khimik.

In 2011, he became the main goalkeeper of the team at the world championship. The team finished in fourth place. A year later, Russia won the World Cup, and Barulin played three games in which he missed six goals. 2012 was a special year for the athlete, because the goalkeeper joined AK Bars, where he again played two seasons on high level. Spent the 2014/15 season with Avangard Omsk. In 2015, the goalkeeper moved to Sochi, where he plays to this day.

In 2015, the main national team took second place in the World Cup. Konstantin played in only one match and missed three goals. In total, he played nineteen games for the national teams (8 for the youth and youth team; 11 for the main team).

Wife - Natalya Barulina since 2007 is the artistic director of the support group of the HC "Atlant" Moscow Region, by education - a fitness trainer.
Son - Jan (named after goalkeeper Jan Lashak)

Konstantin Barulin is the goalkeeper of the Russian national team, but he was born in the city of Karaganda, in Kazakhstan. The first club that Konstantin began to play for was the Tyumen Gazovik, which Barulin joined in 2002. While still a junior, he showed his talent by being called up to the Russian junior team, where he won silver medals. A year later, Constantil became the world champion among youth teams.

In 2003, Barulin decided to try his luck in the NHL by nominating himself for the draft. The Russian goalkeeper was chosen by the St. Louis Blues in the third round under the general number 84, but to play in the strongest hockey league Konstantin did not succeed and he returned to Russia. For three years, Barulin managed to return to Gazovik, then play for SKA and Spartak. After that, he played for Atlant Mytishchi for two seasons. From 2008 to 2010, Konstantin Barulin defended the colors of the Moscow army, and the very next year, the goalkeeper signed a two-year contract with Atlant.

The 2010-2011 season was truly stellar for Barulin. Already in the regular season, Konstantin began to show just a great game, staked out a place in the base. Many thought that Barulin would play worse in the playoffs, but Konstantin proved that his great game is not a momentary phenomenon, but a given. Largely due to the fantastically reliable game of Konstantin Barulin “Atlant” and reached the final of the Gagarin Cup. Despite losing in the final series to Salavat Yulaev, no one will definitely criticize the Mytishchi goalkeeper in this. Moreover, it is Konstantin Barulin who is recognized as the most valuable player of this season. One can only be surprised at the progress that the goalkeeper has made. Indeed, 93% of the repulsed throws is just a great achievement. After such a successful season, Barulin was expected to be number one in the national team, but Vyacheslav Bykov had other plans. The coach of the Russian national team made a bet on the more experienced Yevgeny Nabokov, while Konstantin Barulin and Vasily Koshechkin will go to the World Cup as reserve goalkeepers.

To Barulin's credit, he said that there could be no offense. Konstantin stressed that the decision of the coach, who knows much better than everyone else, is important first of all. The Atlanta goalkeeper said he would give his all at every practice and prove himself worthy of being number one on the team.

An excerpt characterizing Barulin, Konstantin Aleksandrovich

At the beginning of August, Helen's case was completely decided, and she wrote a letter to her husband (who she thought was very fond of her) in which she informed him of her intention to marry NN and that she had entered into the one true religion and that she asks him to complete all the formalities necessary for the divorce, which the bearer of this letter will convey to him.
“Sur ce je prie Dieu, mon ami, de vous avoir sous sa sainte et puissante garde. Votre amie Helene.
[“Then I pray to God that you, my friend, be under his holy strong cover. Your friend Elena"]
This letter was brought to Pierre's house while he was on the Borodino field.

The second time, already at the end of the Battle of Borodino, having escaped from the Raevsky battery, Pierre with crowds of soldiers headed along the ravine to Knyazkov, reached the dressing station and, seeing blood and hearing screams and groans, hastily moved on, getting mixed up in the crowds of soldiers.
One thing that Pierre now wanted with all the strength of his soul was to get out of those terrible impressions in which he lived that day as soon as possible, return to the usual conditions of life and fall asleep peacefully in the room on his bed. Only under ordinary conditions of life did he feel that he would be able to understand himself and all that he had seen and experienced. But these ordinary conditions of life were nowhere to be found.
Although the balls and bullets did not whistle here along the road along which he walked, but from all sides it was the same as it was there, on the battlefield. There were the same suffering, tormented and sometimes strangely indifferent faces, the same blood, the same soldier's greatcoats, the same sounds of shooting, although distant, but still terrifying; in addition, there was stuffiness and dust.
After walking about three versts along the high Mozhaisk road, Pierre sat down on its edge.
Twilight descended on the earth, and the rumble of the guns subsided. Pierre, leaning on his arm, lay down and lay for such a long time, looking at the shadows moving past him in the darkness. Incessantly it seemed to him that with a terrible whistle a cannonball flew at him; he winced and got up. He did not remember how long he had been here. In the middle of the night, three soldiers, dragging branches, placed themselves beside him and began to make fire.
The soldiers, looking sideways at Pierre, kindled a fire, put a bowler hat on it, crumbled crackers into it and put lard. The pleasant smell of edible and greasy food merged with the smell of smoke. Pierre got up and sighed. The soldiers (there were three of them) ate, not paying attention to Pierre, and talked among themselves.
- Yes, which one will you be? one of the soldiers suddenly turned to Pierre, obviously meaning by this question what Pierre thought, namely: if you want to eat, we will give, just tell me, are you an honest person?
- I? me? .. - said Pierre, feeling the need to belittle his social position as much as possible in order to be closer and more understandable to the soldiers. - I'm a real militia officer, only my squad is not here; I came to the battle and lost mine.
- You see! one of the soldiers said.
The other soldier shook his head.
- Well, eat, if you want, kavardachka! - said the first and gave Pierre, licking it, a wooden spoon.
Pierre sat down by the fire and began to eat the kavardachok, the food that was in the pot and which seemed to him the most delicious of all the foods he had ever eaten. While he greedily, bending over the cauldron, taking away large spoons, chewed one after another and his face was visible in the light of the fire, the soldiers silently looked at him.
- Where do you need it? You say! one of them asked again.
- I'm in Mozhaisk.
- You, became, sir?
- Yes.
- What's your name?
- Pyotr Kirillovich.
- Well, Pyotr Kirillovich, let's go, we'll take you. In complete darkness, the soldiers, together with Pierre, went to Mozhaisk.
The roosters were already crowing when they reached Mozhaisk and began to climb the steep city mountain. Pierre walked along with the soldiers, completely forgetting that his inn was below the mountain and that he had already passed it. He would not have remembered this (he was in such a state of bewilderment) if his bereator had not run into him on the half of the mountain, who went to look for him around the city and returned back to his inn. The landlord recognized Pierre by his hat, which shone white in the darkness.
“Your Excellency,” he said, “we are desperate. What are you walking? Where are you, please!
“Oh yes,” said Pierre.
The soldiers paused.
Well, did you find yours? one of them said.
- Well, goodbye! Pyotr Kirillovich, it seems? Farewell, Pyotr Kirillovich! other voices said.
“Goodbye,” said Pierre and went with his bereator to the inn.
"We must give them!" thought Pierre, reaching for his pocket. “No, don’t,” a voice told him.
There was no room in the upper rooms of the inn: everyone was busy. Pierre went into the yard and, covering himself with his head, lay down in his carriage.

As soon as Pierre laid his head on the pillow, he felt that he was falling asleep; but suddenly, with the clarity of almost reality, a boom, boom, boom of shots was heard, groans, screams, the slap of shells were heard, there was a smell of blood and gunpowder, and a feeling of horror, fear of death seized him. He opened his eyes in fear and lifted his head from under his overcoat. Everything was quiet outside. Only at the gate, talking to the janitor and slapping through the mud, was some kind of orderly. Above Pierre's head, under the dark underside of the plank canopy, doves fluttered from the movement he made while rising. A peaceful, joyful for Pierre at that moment, strong smell of an inn, the smell of hay, manure and tar was poured throughout the courtyard. Between the two black awnings one could see a clear starry sky.
“Thank God that this is no more,” thought Pierre, again closing his head. “Oh, how terrible fear is, and how shamefully I gave myself up to it! And they…they were firm, calm all the time, to the very end…” he thought. In Pierre's understanding, they were soldiers - those who were on the battery, and those who fed him, and those who prayed to the icon. They - these strange, hitherto unknown to him, they were clearly and sharply separated in his thoughts from all other people.
“To be a soldier, just a soldier! thought Pierre, falling asleep. – Enter this common life with your whole being, imbue with what makes them so. But how to throw off all this superfluous, diabolical, all the burden of this external person? One time I could be it. I could run away from my father as I wished. Even after the duel with Dolokhov, I could have been sent as a soldier.” And in Pierre's imagination flashed a dinner at the club where he summoned Dolokhov, and a benefactor in Torzhok. And now Pierre is presented with a solemn dining box. This lodge takes place in the English Club. And someone familiar, close, dear, is sitting at the end of the table. Yes it is! This is a benefactor. “Yes, he died? thought Pierre. - Yes, he died; but I didn't know he was alive. And how sorry I am that he died, and how glad I am that he is alive again! On one side of the table sat Anatole, Dolokhov, Nesvitsky, Denisov and others like him (the category of these people was just as clearly defined in Pierre’s soul in a dream, as was the category of those people whom he called them), and these people, Anatole, Dolokhov loudly shouted, sang; but behind their cry was heard the voice of the benefactor, speaking incessantly, and the sound of his words was as significant and continuous as the roar of the battlefield, but it was pleasant and comforting. Pierre did not understand what the benefactor was saying, but he knew (the category of thoughts was just as clear in the dream) that the benefactor spoke of goodness, of the possibility of being what they were. And they from all sides, with their simple, kind, firm faces, surrounded the benefactor. But although they were kind, they did not look at Pierre, did not know him. Pierre wanted to draw their attention to himself and say. He got up, but at the same instant his legs became cold and bare.
He felt ashamed, and he covered his legs with his hand, from which the overcoat really fell off. For a moment, Pierre, adjusting his overcoat, opened his eyes and saw the same sheds, pillars, courtyard, but all this was now bluish, light and covered with sparkles of dew or frost.
“Dawn,” thought Pierre. “But that's not it. I need to listen to and understand the words of the benefactor.” He again covered himself with his overcoat, but there was no longer any dining box or benefactor. There were only thoughts clearly expressed in words, thoughts that someone said or Pierre himself changed his mind.
Pierre, later recalling these thoughts, despite the fact that they were caused by the impressions of that day, was convinced that someone outside of him was telling them to him. Never, as it seemed to him, was he in reality able to think and express his thoughts like that.
“War is the most difficult subjection of human freedom to the laws of God,” said the voice. – Simplicity is obedience to God; you won't get away from it. And they are simple. They don't say, but they do. The spoken word is silver, and the unspoken is golden. A person cannot own anything while he is afraid of death. And whoever is not afraid of her, everything belongs to him. If there were no suffering, a person would not know the boundaries of himself, would not know himself. The most difficult thing (Pierre continued to think or hear in a dream) is to be able to combine in his soul the meaning of everything. Connect everything? Pierre said to himself. No, don't connect. You can’t connect thoughts, but to connect all these thoughts - that’s what you need! Yes, you need to match, you need to match! Pierre repeated to himself with inner delight, feeling that with these, and only with these words, what he wants to express is expressed, and the whole question that torments him is resolved.

Hockey in Russia has always been very popular among other sports. The Soviet players had no equal on the ice field, they entered into the history of Russian hockey as the most professional in the whole world. Today, hockey is just as popular, there are really talented players, with them you can still break through to the very podium that was once taken away from us. Konstantin Barulin is a hockey player and the best goalkeeper of the national team in the last few years. We will tell about the life and career of this athlete in this article.

Barulin Konstantin Aleksandrovich: biography before a career

Where was Barulin born? In Karaganda! It was in this city that the bright ray of our current hockey was born. He was born on September 4, 1984.

The boy was interested in sports since childhood, he was a very mobile and active child. He also watched TV with interest. hockey games. That is why the choice of parents fell on the hockey section.

Player Status Determination

For a long time, Konstantin Barulin did not show himself on the ice, he was not much different from ordinary players. It could be considered that this activity would remain a simple hobby for the guy, but the random choice of the coach determined the entire future fate of the hockey player.

In one of the training sessions, Konstantin Barulin, by the decision of the coach, was put on goal. This is where it started real game. It turns out that the guy was just born to protect the hockey goal.

He quickly gained experience and had already chosen a future career for himself. During the game in sports school he showed high results, in connection with which he began to be considered the best player among his peers.

It's time to become a professional

Konstantin Barulin, whose biography as a hockey player began in Kazakhstan, moved to Russia in 2001 to play professional sports. His team was Gazovik, in which Konstantin played for two years. During this time, major clubs became interested in the young athlete and tried their best to lure him to their side.

In 2002, Barulin won silver at the youth championship, and a year later he won the gold medal at the world championship.

Short dashes to clubs

In 2003, Konstantin was nevertheless lured to the St. Petersburg clubs SKA and SKA-2. Basically, he played for the first team, as needed went on the ice as part of the second.

Seasons 2004 and 2005 he again had to defend the interests of "Gazovik", but more than a season, he again did not stay there. The next club was Spartak, where Konstantin Barulin also played the season.

From 2006 to 2008, he defended the gates from getting pucks into them in the team of the Resurrection Khimik.

As if by the way, in the 2007-2008 season, he went out on the ice as part of the second Chemist, where he again managed to win the Western Division First League tournament.

In the 2007 world hockey championship, Konstantin took a bronze place in the Russian team.

Since 2008, for two seasons, Konstantin Barulin joined the army team ("CSKA").

In 2010, his road ran in the direction of "Atlanta". A year after playing in this team, Konstantin was recognized as the most valuable hockey player.

Since 2009, for three seasons, Konstantin Barulin has played in the All-Star Game of the Continental Hockey League.

In 2012, he was taken to AK-Bars. Two seasons in a row as part of this team, he shows high skill and professionalism. However, no one expects a bad game from him.

Seasons 2014 and 2015 he spends as part of the Omsk team "Avangard". In the same way as in previous matches, Konstantin professionally kept the puck away from the gate.

Since 2015, the hockey player has been playing for the Sochi team. To date, he holds his position as one of the best players in the national team of our country.

Why are goalkeepers so remarkable?

Good goalkeepers are a rarity, in each team they are valued in a special way.

If the goalkeeper shows good results, then it is much easier for the forward to go on the attack. He knows that there is an almost impenetrable wall behind him. If it so happens that the defense lets the opponent get too close to the goal, the goalkeeper remains a formidable guardian of victory. It depends only on him that the puck hits his own goal.

The goalkeeper must have unique vision and reaction. He must also be more than brave, because a puck flying at top speed can seriously injure unprotected places.

Teams are constantly fighting among themselves for the right to have an excellent goalkeeper on their own territory.

Home rear in the hands of his wife

Barulin Konstantin met his wife Natalya under difficult circumstances.

In 2004 he played for SKA. Their team decided to arrange a contest for the title of "Miss SKA". Placed an ad in the newspaper about the upcoming competition.

Natalya was not fond of hockey, but for the sake of fun she decided to take part. She managed to take only third place, but Barulin himself drew attention to her! He invited the girl to meet and take a walk.

Two weeks after they met, Barulin offered the girl his hand and the puck, oh, heart! Natalya was not in a hurry to get married, but agreed.

They were to get married only after a year and a half, but they immediately bought and put on wedding rings.

Natalia herself began her career as a figure skater, but severely injured her hand. Since it was not possible for her to perform herself, she became a coach in the Atlanta support group, in which her husband played.

There she had to be not only a coach, but also an evil mother, who did not allow her girls for a kilometer to the hockey players, as well as those to her team.

The couple have a son, Jan, whom Konstantin named after famous hockey player- Yana Lashaka.

Konstantin Barulin hurries home from training and matches, where a reliable rear consisting of his wife and child awaits him.
