New clubs in RFPL

At the end of the 2016-2017 season, a number of teams fought for the right to remain in the top football division. For example, the goalkeeper line was completely updated: Gutor, Yurchenko, Oparin - now the teams from the Leningrad Region are not afraid of the last frontier. In attack, Tosno will play forward Vukushevich, who moved from Greuther Furth and Melkadze, leased from Spartak. The defensive line and the middle of the field have been significantly updated: here, Tosno also has no problems. The club's management, making such solid acquisitions, probably counted on at least the top ten in the standings, but the reality turned out to be harsher. Akhmat changed its coaching staff in the off-season: Oleg Kononov was appointed to the post of helmsman, but this did not bring stability. At the start of the championship, the club gave out a long series of four defeats, which did not allow them to rise above fifth place.
