Second Olympic gold! The Belarusian women's biathlon team won the relay. One step away from medals. Russian biathletes are fourth in the first relay of the season Women's biathlon team Belarus relay

The Belarusian women's biathlon team created one of the main sensations of the Olympics by winning gold in the relay.

Our team was represented today by Nadezhda Skardino, Irina Krivko, Dinara Alimbekova and Daria Domracheva.

The race took place in difficult weather conditions, which the Belarusian biathletes coped with very well.

Nadezhda Skardino used two additional rounds and passed the baton to the tenth. The gap from first place was 46 seconds, but Nadezhda left behind the strong teams of Germany and Ukraine.

The weather conditions did not improve, but Irina Krivko performed incredibly well in her stage. She used the extra cartridge just once and moved our team to fifth position.

For only the second time in my career I competed in the adult relay race, and the first experience was extremely unsuccessful. However, Dinara coped well with the pressure. She was the first to leave the counter! On the last lap, Alimbekova slowed down a little, but passed the baton to Daria Domracheva in the group of leaders.

Domracheva led the race after the first shooting, but made her nervous in the second, making three mistakes. And yet Daria coped with the difficult situation and covered the targets with additional cartridges.

The Belarusian women's biathlon team won the 4 x 6 km relay race Olympic Games in Pyeongchang, South Korea.

Nadezhda Skardino, Irina Krivko, Dinara Alimbekova and Daria Domracheva ran for the Belarusian national team in the relay. The Belarusians covered the distance in 1 hour 12 minutes 3.4 seconds, using nine additional rounds on four firing lines and avoiding penalty loops. Swedish biathletes Lynn Persson, Muna Brursson, Anna Magnusson and Hanna Oeberg finished in second place (10.7 seconds back; 0 laps + 12 extra rounds). Bronze was won by the French team consisting of Anaïs Chevalier, Marie Dorin-Habert, Justine Breza and Anaïs Bescond (+17.6; 0+14).

For the first time in history, the Belarusian team won the women's relay, this discipline has been represented in the Games since 1992. Domracheva became a four-time Olympic champion and a six-time Olympic medalist. Domracheva is the first biathlete in history to win the Olympics four times. In Sochi she won three gold medals, winning individual race, pursuit and mass start. In Pyeongchang, Domracheva also won a silver medal in the mass start, losing only to Anastasia Kuzmina from Slovakia.

At the first stage of the relay best result showed the Italian team. Lisa Vittozzi used one extra round to take the lead after the second shooting. At the finish she won by 7.8 seconds over American Susan Dunkley. Paulina Fialkova from Slovakia passed the baton to the third.

After prone in the second stage, the representative of Slovakia, Anastasia Kuzmina, took first position. The older sister of Russian team leader Anton Shipulin was ahead of Italian Dorothea Wierer, who earned two penalties. The biathletes shot in the standing position in conditions of increased wind. Kuzmina, Norwegian Tiril Eckhoff and German Denise Hermann received a penalty loop each. Accurate work at the turn allowed Wierer to move from 13th position to first. On the last lap, overall World Cup leader Kaisa Makarainen took the lead. She brought Wierer 14.2 seconds. Kuzmina passed the baton third, 16.1 seconds behind the leader.

In the third stage, after the first shooting, Italian Nicole Gontier took the lead. On prone, she earned a penalty loop and fell back to fourth position. Belarusian biathlete Dinara Alimbekova took advantage of her opponents' mistakes and was the first to go the distance. On the last lap she passed ahead of Poland's Krystyna Guzik, France's Justine Breza and Gontier.

Accurate prone shooting allowed Daria Domracheva to take Belarus into the lead at the last stage. She left the line 11.4 seconds behind Frenchwoman Anaïs Bescond. In the standing position, Domracheva used three additional rounds, but her opponents’ mistakes allowed her to maintain first position. She crossed the finish line with the Belarusian flag.

Anya Sola, Scardino, Domracheva, their opinion about the cat Basilio, that is, Korolkevich, is nothing in comparison with the opinion of the truly great.
And this, for a minute, is Vilukhin, and Starykh, and, probably, someone else.

Bourguignon,
thanks for the tip. I wouldn't even remember about her.

Khinskiy,
zakol,
To successfully introduce young people into battle, you need very serious experience and grandmaster control.
Just as with the Germans, out of a whole group of girls as a whole, only Dahlmeier “took off,” so the same Belarusians got an overlay with Anya Sola. Anya, at 19, successfully debuted at the KIBU in the relay race immediately after a number of excellent performances at KIBU 2 years ago, then she was literally pulled from KIBU to the KM.
But then something didn’t work out for them at all during the off-season with Korolkevich and until now she is only a pale copy of herself 2 years ago.
Although she is considered more promising and this summer she trained with the first team, while Alimbekova trained with the second team.

zakol, who is poisoning them?

Khinskiy, of course, I also have thoughts about the race, what helped some, what hindered others, but I’m much more interested in our team.

I’ve been saying nothing but trainers since I appeared here on the site. I am simply disgusted by the persecution of our young coaches carried out by fans under the leadership of Gu.

HAPPY VICTORY to your HOKEYS! Give these Canadian Indians some skin and then NIRVANA!

zakol, I have something to object to, but somehow we have moved away from the topic of the blog.
It’s such a holiday here in Belarus, and we have our own problems.))
This is not the first time I am convinced that the fate of the relay is decided at the 3rd stage. Even such a brilliant biathlete as Domracheva needs to bring a comfortable gap.
And everyone’s heart was pounding when Dinara Alimbekova entered the race. And she did it.
But in their own way objective indicators she is far from the best even at the KE level.
And remember Merkushina in the Hochfilzen relay, when she also raised her team from 3rd to 2nd place in the 3rd stage. And she’s also far from the strongest compared to her rivals.

In this regard, I would like to say about that component of any sport that is almost never talked about.
This is trust and a coach's instinct. What our team doesn't have. The first mistake and you are already in disgrace. We have the shortest path from the WC to the internal competitions and you can wait for more than one year to return.
I'm not even talking about the sense of smell.

chaotic, Corinne Niogre became OC at 19 years old.

Bravissimo, Belarus! There are no words for how wonderful it is!

The Swedes are great. Pichler deservedly receives bonuses. So in four years, practically from scratch, prepare a team! Yes, they are no longer randomly shooting “upstarts”, they are serious rivals in the elite. I admire.

And how pale we look against the background of all this. I am now convinced that neither Yurlova, nor Shipulin, nor Tsvetkov would have changed the situation. It’s as simple as that, hope dies last.

Well, we’ll soon see what our miracle coaches will do in the last stages of the WC. It's never been so interesting...

Khinskiy, are you implying that I cut off Sentsov’s phrase? But the two quotes differ only in the word “Known.” This doesn't change the meaning one bit. But you're all in it. Another problem you have is that you see in the phrase only a banality about development.

Previously, I was accused of allegedly being against youth. Now am I overly rooting for the youth? I don’t know how much is built into Reztsova, but so far I don’t see that she is progressing at a decent level relative to her best peers. I don’t know what level she will reach. I want it to be very tall, you want her not to overtake Kaisheva.

I'm not a wizard and I can't see the inherent possibilities from the couch. I can only see serious limitations on the path of development. The wizard is you. How else would you spot an athlete of Forsberg’s caliber? Now you have to accuse the whole world of plotting against this athlete. And everything is much simpler.

I agree, Dinara Alimbekova is an Olympic baby with an iron character, she beat all the title winners at her stage in bad weather!

Dinara Alimbekova, if I’m not mistaken, also became the youngest Olympic champion in biathlon. She turned 22 in January.
Neuner's first victory was at 23.

By the way. You shouldn't be going to Gu. Everything is relative.
You simply haven’t heard our Belarusian collective farm commentators. Gu, compared to them, is just an academician. Match TV is not shown in Belarus and is blocked on the Internet. All of us are looking for how and where to watch biathlon with him.

Experienced, this means the Bulbash are lucky, and in the near future they will be moved to their rightful place of 4-5

Congratulations to the Belarusian team and its fans!

Well done fellow Slavs!

PS. It’s surprising how the GU wasn’t even in the photos with the champions
As it turned out, he was already exposed with a selfie.

My congratulations to the girls and all the fans! A mind-blowing race, but we did it, we won! All the girls are smart, but the third stage is three times smart!

1. Congratulations to the team. Well done! Victory with character.
2. Now I also understand Dasha for her sharp tongue “in the doping scandal” - well, AIT, well, AIT. It's like Hades, damn it.

Well done girls! They brought joy to the people of Belarus and Russia.
PS. It’s surprising that GU wasn’t even in the photos with the champions.

Well done Bulbashki). very happy for the girls and Dalen

zakol, Polkhovsky was eaten in vain, it would have been better than that of the pichler and the Swedes.

zakol, among juniors in the 14-15 season, Kaisheva ran in the sprint faster than Oeberg, Vittozzi and Magnusson. Slivko ran at the same pace as Eberg.
But in the 15-16 season, Oeberg beat Kristina Reztsova, who in your opinion “has a lot in it,” won by almost 2 minutes with a move.
Sentsov’s full phrase looks like this: “It is known that physical and functionality are not acquired, but developed; you can only develop what is inherent in nature.”
So, after all, they are developing, but it was more convenient for you not to notice.

And so far only two people know about Kaisheva’s potential: you and Denis Norkin.))
And if we talk about a certain predisposition, then we need to keep in mind the predisposition of the RBU leadership towards certain athletes, and not their physical capabilities.

As for Oeberg, her predisposition is that she has sharply increased her strength training, and not in some inherent superpowers. For example, Mironova’s functionality is clearly higher, but Hannah was developed, and Sveta’s technique was reworked.
And then these people hire clackers and “prosecutors” who talk about Grandma Masha, about children’s coaches and about the fact that they hired the wrong ones.

Congratulations to the girls from Belarus on such a great victory! They just organized a feast for the soul! Well done!

And what does “in many ways this race is a lottery” mean? The lottery is only in the shooting position, well, such “lotteries” were already visible and invisible, today Belarus wins in these “lotteries” - and nothing will move them from the pedestal.

Syabrov with VICTORY! Nemchure is the name of the stage 2 biathlete, not the medal.

Bulygina removed all questions if anyone still had them. Not a relay fighter. Her responsibility does not mobilize, but stifles. It’s absolutely right that ours didn’t put her in the gold relay.

Also compare Bolorussian women with Kazakh women. Were the first to get rid of Polkhovsky in time? The friendly team of Ukraine suddenly turned out to be, by the recognition of their athlete, Opa. Pichler's persecutors fell silent... In general, where did all the trolls hide?

Marina, thank you.

Congratulations to Belarusians! Domracheva is now the most titled biathlete in history. How old is Alimbekova? Our incompetent “leaders” would not have let her near the relay within a cannon shot. We have so many “experienced” turtles that are reliable in shooting!

In general, I expect a serious change personnel policy as a result of this disastrous season in history. But this cannot be achieved without disbanding the RRF.

Of course, in many ways this race is a lottery, but if the Belarusians with Daria Björndalen looked more preferable, especially in the last stage! but the Swedes, the Swedes have finally established themselves for me personally - very strong team, with a promising and handsome (very) leader!))

In Sochi, the Germans sacrificed the result for the sake of “rolling out” Preuss and Dahlmeier. Here are four years of rolling out and what different results! Laura is a star, and Franziska just failed the German team today. The current Dahlmeier medals actually have to be divided between two Olympics for all German women, and it turns out a bit thin. But these are the problems of the Germans. The example of two athletes is important to me.

I absolutely agree with Alexander Sentsov that “physical and functional capabilities are not acquired, but developed; you can only develop what is inherent in nature.” No matter how much you roll out the average one, you will still get the average one. Well, it’s not given and that’s all. In other words, no matter how much you roll out Kaisheva, you will still get Romanova. And what I definitely didn’t do was kick Romanova out of the team. The Romanovs will also be useful to us.

Did you see how Hannah ran for the silver medal today? I would say inspired. Which of our young and capable shooters is so gifted by nature? Why do we lose such people so far away from the national team? Now it’s clear what Pichler meant when he said that he doesn’t see our youth as gifted as Lena Neuner? I’m looking forward to new generations of biathletes. There are girls in skiing, and they should be in biathlon too.

nadyushka,
Thanks for the compliments)

Valentinovna, I’m waiting for alternative ones, as in the section - skiing - “Competitions for skiers not admitted to the Olympic Games will start on February 24”

ledylyu, there is information on the next thread in the results of Russian races.

On the next branch, skis, they wrote about alternative ski racing February 24 near Arkhangelsk, 400 people, no information about biathlon and broadcast. Does anyone know what?

Khinskiy, LES, at one time you were choked with delight at the genius of the German TS, which went to radically rejuvenate the national team. And which of those young people “rose” to the level of world leaders, except Laura?
Actually, Dahlmeier did not need to “roll out” after the two-time championship at the Junior World Championships. As did Oeberg, for the same reasons. I expect the same, at least, from Vasnetsova.

Dmitry,
WEB is not a coach; he does not yet have a coaching license.
Officially, he is an assistant coach.

aaayyy February 22, 2018 (16:57)). There is absolutely no enthusiasm to write without ours, but after reading the joke about the Finn, I laughed heartily. On this topic, I carry a stone in my bosom, but apparently I’ll leave with it.

I just love biathlon: “Krivko Season 3 rolls out at every stage THAT’S WHY it’s growing! But Zakol and Deniska all want to kick Kaisheva out of the team... that’s the difference.”
Sir, what are you talking about? Krivko is 26 years old, Kaisheva is 23, and I dare to believe that Ulyana has already registered as a starter.

Sal, congratulations to you personally! The girls are so great! Ira passed with zeros, Dinara did not shy away, she even created a reserve after the second milestone, Dasha simply could not help but come first!

The weather decided to repay Dashka’s debts for the start of the Olympics and the sprint of the 2015 Biathlon Championship. Well done, girls!

Oh my God! What a race it was! I still have no words for joy)) Happy Victory!

Well, if the Russians did not participate, then the Belarusian winners are the most desirable result. I watched the relay race from the last stage and Dasha was simply a heroine, coping with all the obstacles along the way. I sincerely congratulate the girls!

transfer to the 4th stage: after lying down.. 2.9 km after standing
Sweden +59.1 sec... +41.9... +55.7... +10.9
Ukraine +1:06.3 +1:26
Germany +1:12.2...+59.3...+1:09...+41.9

what did standing in the wind do

Dasha is a great guy, but the main character is Alimbekova: in the previous relay she was the weakest link, but today she simply surprised.

Dahusim, our holiday - let them honor it))

Khinskiy, and with starts they “drive” athletes, especially if the base is insufficient, but the abilities are there. They run to their health, run well and ruin it. I know, I went through this myself.

The Germans are unlucky: (This generation risks becoming medalless (except for Laura)
The Belarusians were surprised. Well done

Bjoerndalen, with a successful combination of all circumstances, will be able to prepare an excellent biathlete or biathlete. Daria Domracheva’s troubles also include his merit.

Italy won the women's relay in Hochfilzen. Russia did not reach the podium.

Hochfilzen (Austria). World Cup stage. Women. Relay race
1. Italy (Vittozzi, Rungaldier, Wierer, Sanfilippo) - 1:10.58.7 (0+3)
2. Sweden (Persson, Brursson, Nilsson, Oberg) - 8.4 (0+9)
3. France (Chevalier, Simon, Emonier, Bescond) - 11.8 (0+8)
4. Russia (Pavlova, Yurlova-Perkht, Vasnetsova, Starykh) - 47.2 (0+6)
5. Belarus (Alimbekova, Krivko, Sola, Kruchinkina) - 1.13.4 (0+4)
6. Norway (Knotten, Eckhoff, Lanmark Tandrevold, Ulsby Roisland) - 1.24.4 (2+11)

Six additional rounds prevented the Russian team from interfering in the fight for medals in the women's relay at the World Cup in Hochfilzen. To compete for awards, the Russians had to shoot approximately the same as the biathletes from the Italian team did, who became the first with three additional cartridges.

Debutante slaughterer

To the first stage coaching staff set, which is only in this season made her debut in the main team. And in her debut relay race at the World Cup she had the chance to become a slaughterer. She could have run the first stage from the current team, but she had completely lost her form.

Pavlova coped with her task. Before the first shooting, she was not rushing anywhere, stayed in the strongest group in fifth place, shot the prone stage cleanly and went into the distance third. True, she came to the second shooting with a slight lag behind the top three and could not do without a miss.

Veteran in the role of catch-up

But one extra cartridge in the first relay race in my career at this level is a completely normal indicator. In the final segment of the distance, Pavlova tried to keep up the speed of the leaders, but in the last 500 meters she slowed down a little.
