    7.2.1. Final state certification of a specialist inphysical culture and sports includes the defense of a final qualifying thesis and a final state interdisciplinary exam in specialization.

    7.2.2. Requirements for final qualifying work.

    A specialist’s final qualifying work is a completed research development or project of educational and methodological activity, which solves a problem that is relevant for the field of physical culture and sports. In the work, the graduate must demonstrate the ability to identify and formulate goals and objectives of research that are relevant to the theory and practice of physical culture and sports based on the analysis of educational, scientific and methodological literature, materials reflecting the practice of physical culture and sports activities; select research methods adequate to the assigned tasks; organize and carry out experimental research; carry out the necessary processing of the results obtained; interpret and document research results; draw conclusions and give practical recommendations.

    The work should include sections justifying the choice of topic, its relevance, setting the purpose and objectives of the research, a literary image on the research topic, a description of research methods, research results, their discussion, conclusions and practical recommendations, and a list of references.

    The volume of work or as a rule should not exceed 70 pages of typewritten text.

    The final qualified work of a specialist in physical culture and sports can also be a theoretical study and be carried out in the form of a generalized scientific review with an analysis of the latest, inaccessible scientific works related to a single topic. The result of such work should be generalizing conclusions that have scientific and (or) practical significance.

    7.2.3. Requirements for the state interdisciplinary exam.

    The interdisciplinary exam should reveal the ability of graduates to use the knowledge acquired in the process of studying various disciplines (medical-biological, psychological-pedagogical, humanitarian, socio-economic and others) to solve specific practical problems in the field of specialization.
