Fallout 4 maximum character level. Fast leveling - we get a lot of experience. Is it worth leveling up to this level?
Publication date: 11/19/2015 11:56:38
A huge number of perks that beckon you every time you level up. But how can we ensure that these desired levels are achieved as often as possible? This small guide contains some tips on how to level up your hero in Fallout 4 faster. Moreover, in this part there is no level limit - it is quite possible to upgrade absolutely all perks and increase all SPECIAL characteristics to level 10.
As you know, experience is awarded for almost all actions - killing enemies, picking locks, discovering new locations, crafting, and completing tasks. To get the most out of these activities, you can use some tricks. And don’t forget - even if you have already found a workaround, but you can break the door lock, do it, because experience is never superfluous!
Learn the Savant perk as early as possible
Perk "Savant" allows you to gain three or even five times more experience for each action. To open it, you need luck pumped up to level 5. The perk works randomly, so whether you receive a bonus or not depends only on the will of Lady Luck. In connection with this feature, it is especially important to ensure that the perk works on gaining large portions of experience. To do this, be sure to save before turning in the quest - if the perk doesn't work, reboot and turn it in again. Repeat until the perk works. It is worth noting separately that the chance of the perk being triggered directly depends on the current level of intelligence - the lower it is, the higher the chance. Here's an example of when pretending to be stupid is very a good option. So if you want, you can start the game with 1 intelligence point.
What else is worth doing is to collect a supply of pumping points, so that you can quickly pump up your intelligence when you decide to move on to the second stage of pumping. You can't be stupid the whole game, right?
The dark side of this approach in the initial stages of the game is the inability to level up interesting skills, such as hacking console passwords and science. But with hacking, for example, you can solve the problem with the help of a partner - Valentine can hack terminals for you.
Farming side quests
There is a whole bunch of quests that are repeated many times. You need to join the Brotherhood of Steel as early as possible (you need to complete Paladin Dance's quest at the Cambridge police station) and start completing quests to clear locations and search for artifacts. Each completion gives experience gained from killing enemies and picking locks in the zone, as well as a bonus for completing the quest itself. You can also complete Preston's quests. In combination with the Savant perk or a high level of intelligence, it is quite possible to gain several additional levels in a short time.
From the middle of the game it is very important to have high intelligence
Although it may not be noticeable from the very beginning, the Intelligence stat directly affects the amount of experience gained for each action. And no matter how much you would like to take “this cool perk” early, it will be more profitable to first pump up your intelligence to a high level, and then, when you gain significantly more experience, pump up the necessary perks.
If you are using a trick with the Savant perk and low intelligence, be sure to max out your intelligence in one fell swoop. This way you can move from frequent bonuses from a perk to consistently high bonus for a high level of intelligence.
Farm in later stages
At a certain point in the game, after joining the Brotherhood of Steel, Paladin Dance will invite you to go with him and meet other members of the Brotherhood. After this, Proctor Quinlan will give you a quest where you need to protect a specific target. The quest has interesting feature, using which you can very quickly gain a lot of experience. Here's what to do:
- Equip a weapon with a good optical sight.
- You will be asked to protect an important person. It's a shame, but you'll have to kill her. Many times in a row.
- As soon as the quest begins, find a point as far away as possible from the patrolman near the door. If he notices what you are about to do, he will quickly kill you.
- Crouch to reduce your chance of being detected or use stealth combat. Kill the target you need to protect, accurate shot to the head. The target will be downstairs at the Boston airport.
- When the target of the task changes, go to Proctor Quinlan and tell him that the target has died.
- The reward for failing the quest will be from 300 to 400 experience depending on your intelligence level. The quest can be repeated and you can fail the task an unlimited number of times.

Do you want to get level 50 easily and quickly? Fallout 4? Do you want to unlock all possible perks? Then this one is just what you need. It is noteworthy that the use of this method is most effective on console versions of the game.
You will need:
- “Fences” magazines, which provide access to the construction of “Statues”
- Large amount of copper (at least 25,000)
Please note that when installing the statue, you receive 32 experience points (Intelligence value must be equal to 10). Installing the statue will require 10 copper, which is why you need a large number of of this resource. Just imagine how much experience you can gain with a lot of Fences and Copper magazines.
Magazines "Fences"
You must obtain a specific issue of this magazine, which is located at Sogas Ironworks. On the way you will meet a gang of Forged raiders, so be ready for battle. Kill all its members, including the boss named Slag. The journal is located near the red chest. Nearby are also the fiery sword “Shish Kebab” and the bobblehead “Explosions”.
How to get large amounts of copper
To obtain copper, do the following:
- Visit Arturo Rodriguez's shop in Diamond City and buy copper there
- Place a chest near the workbench, in which you put all the items from the “Junk” section (no need to move the copper).
- Once in the workbench menu, click “Save All”, then instantly click “Take All”. You cannot press both buttons at the same time.
Copper must be replenished. Increase copper in this way until you have collected the amount you need.
Statues
Having a large amount of copper, you can safely start creating statues. Place the statues as far as possible (in this case, a stripe should appear in the corner at the top). Destroy one statue and then quickly put up a new one. Thus, creating each statue will give you 32 experience. Imagine how much experience you can get in just an hour of such actions.

Skyrim and Fallout 4 are built on the same engines, so the Skyrim commands work in Fallout 4.
Fallout 4 big game with a lot of content that can scare an unprepared player, especially if he has never played Fallout or other Bethesda games before, or even games with worlds open to hours of exploration. If you bought Fallout 4 on the advice of friends, on the wave of general hype, or simply, and are somewhat afraid to turn it on, here are some tips for you.
Invest in strength, charisma, endurance and agility
I don't know about you, but I hate role-playing games for what they do to the user at the very start. Most often, in the opening of any RPG, you are asked to select several parameters from a whole bunch - but I can’t even imagine in what situation what could be useful, and why what skill is needed.
Fallout 4 is done differently: here at the very beginning you need to distribute points between the basic characteristics, and after some time, when you have already shot, and run, and even become a little more comfortable with handling equipment, a mess will begin with the skills tied to these characteristics .
But even here you can hang for half an hour, wondering what is more important - charisma or intelligence. Maybe take agility? But then you have to sacrifice luck...
If you are playing Fallout for the first time and do not understand what is happening at all, I recommend that you invest the points available when talking with a Vault-Tek agent into four characteristics: endurance, agility, strength and charisma. Why?
Endurance will make your character resistant to damage, radiation and various addictions (from alcohol, drugs) - by pumping it up, you can extend the hero’s life and save his nerves, especially at the very beginning of the campaign, when there is neither normal armor nor decent weapons.
Agility will give you more action points in V.A.T.S., which can sometimes be life-saving, and will also open up early access to the skill of stealth movement, which is best used constantly when exploring new locations, because the enemies are everywhere, there are many of them, and sometimes it is better to bypass the danger than to desperately rush into it.
Strength will allow you to hurt your enemies melee weapon (or butt), but the main thing is that high strength means a lot of space in the backpack: a strong hero will be able to take with him more trophies, useful items and junk.
Charisma affects the hero’s ability to convince others that he is right.. Persuasion has three stages: easy (the phrase is highlighted in yellow), medium (in orange) and difficult (in red). The higher the charisma, the easier it is to solve the problem with a word rather than a fight.
In Fallout 4 there are quite a lot of tasks with an open ending, and often before the last fight you are asked to talk with your opponent - with high charisma, you can simply get away from a shootout. It’s been tested - most often the drain is accompanied by some kind of trophy that you wouldn’t get if you started shooting in all directions.
Collect everything you can collect
In keeping with Bethesda tradition, Fallout 4 takes place in a world of increased interactivity: you can pick up, if not everything, then a lot from the ground, turn it in your hands and put it in your backpack. Unlike the Elder Scrolls series, where you could sell stolen silverware at most, here everything, all junk has a certain value.
Fallout 4 has an (optional) weapon upgrade system that you will use at least once out of sheer interest and, having felt the benefit of the result, will most likely get carried away with the process. And everything you find - from a plunger to electrical tape - will be useful to you in this craft. The logic is simple: the game has a certain amount of materials that make up absolutely everything. That is, you don’t create a gun from a plunger and a mop - the hero takes rubber from the first, and wood from the second.
Fallout 4 is designed in such a way that you cannot find out exactly what material you will need and for what purposes until you approach the machine and open the corresponding menu. So just collect everything. It won't be lost, I guarantee it.
There are also rare materials that are not at hand at the most inopportune moment. It is better to pick up these things, even if your inventory is already on the verge of the limit: superglue, ceramics and gears. The rest more or less always lies underfoot.
Don't be afraid of addiction
You've probably heard that in Fallout the hero can become a drug addict, which is why various unpleasant things will happen to him. This is true, but this is not a reason not to become a Fallout drug addict!
Various substances affect your hero different influence— temporarily increase strength (buffout), intelligence (mentat), slow down time (screw), increase damage dealt and reduce damage received (psycho). These properties make chemistry indispensable in particularly intense firefights - and there are many more of these in Fallout 4 than relaxed ones.
Usually the algorithm is simple: while exploring the ruins, you eat and inject yourself with everything in your inventory, and when the hero’s strength indicator drops, drink several bottles of beer and polish it all with bourbon in order to drag all the collected valuables to the nearest store. In the cities you can buy Addictol - a drug that simultaneously relieves the character of all addictions. It can also be found in the pockets of defeated opponents, or it can be chemicalized in the laboratory - if you follow the advice from the previous chapter.
Join the Brotherhood of Steel
Fallout 4 gives out power armor almost at the start - just in case, don’t hesitate to help the Minutemen rangers who have taken refuge in the ruins of the town of Concord, where your first exoskeleton will stand on the roof.
The meaning of joining the Brotherhood of Steel is different.
Firstly, during the first mission with the paladin Dance, you can find a not very convenient, but extremely useful gun, which will come in handy when the ammunition for all other weapons runs out: the junk gun shoots garbage, that is, “cartridges” for it can be found literally everywhere.
Secondly, at the end of this task, Dance will give the hero his own laser rifle - in the early stages this is an indispensable thing against any type of enemy. Treat this bonus sparingly: in the first half of the game, there is an acute shortage of batteries for lasers.
Thirdly, by joining the Brotherhood, you will have the opportunity to call for help from helicopters, which can not only turn the tide of an unequal battle with a horde of some swollen freaks, but also give you a lift to the nearest populated area.
How to deserve all this? On the way from the shelter to Diamond City, your Pip-Boy will pick up a military frequency on which a distress signal is transmitted - respond to help, and then you will figure it out.
Try the highest difficulty level
Come to the surface and move towards the Red Rocket gas station, you won't miss it. The very same dog with whom you need to make friends will whine next to her - and immediately return to Vault 111. In the room with the safe, ask the dog to find something useful for you - the flea will mystically open the box, and the cryogenic rifle will become yours.
Take Nick Valentine as your partner
In the city of Diamond City, the central and largest settlement in Fallout 4, you will stumble upon Nick Valentine, a private detective who will help the hero in his quest. You can take Nick with you as a permanent partner - do not refuse his help: he knows how to open some locks and terminals, makes very charming comments on every occasion, and will also give you a lot of optional, but interesting information, which directly relates to the main plot intrigue.
Learn to avoid typical tasks
Fallout 4 is similar to Skyrim not only in that both of these games were made by Bethesda, but also in the fact that the “first I’ll complete all the secondary tasks, and then take on the story” approach does not work here. Forget it. There is so much side content here that you can go crazy and, worse, get very tired and quit this activity altogether if you are not very good with free time.
The problem is that the hero's journal in the Pip-Boy records all the quests without grouping them in any way: when you open the journal, you just see a list of tasks in alphabetical order, and you can neither sort them nor refuse those that are not interesting to you.
Blogger George Weedman in his review proposed a radical method: Just run away from those who are going to give you an uninteresting task so that it does not take up space in the Pip-Boy.
I will say this: if you don’t want to waste time on nonsense, keep in mind that all tasks like “talk to the residents and find out how you can help them” turn into lengthy shooting with a trivial reward and are interesting only if you You have ambitions to develop the wasteland and manage settlements.
Don't be afraid to change your hero and experiment
Remember one important thing: Fallout 4 is Fallout from the authors of Skyrim.
Don’t be shy about being bad, agree to adventures and robberies, and when you realize that you don’t have the right characteristics for some promising business, don’t be afraid to change your hero. Invest in those skills that you have never used. Dress up as a biker. Blow something up and see what happens. Try to build a fortress. Steal. Break terminals, even if you are ashamed. Read other people's letters. Finally, have a blast.
If time is a problem and you have, for example, a couple of hours before bed to play games, create a daily action plan to get through this game before something more important takes your place. I play like this: every evening on my to-do list there is one side quest, one story quest and one walking between them, and every time God knows where the road will take me. I did everything, turned it off, and went to bed. The next day I repeated it. This way you both study side content (which is sometimes more interesting than the main one) and feel a clear progress along the storyline. Have a blast! This is Fallout.
