Evgeniy Antrev: a club like Dynamo is obliged to compete in the RFPL. Evgeniy Muravyov: I didn’t know how complicated everything was at Dynamo Evgeniy Ivanovich Muravyov leaves Dynamo

In an interview with R-Sport correspondent Taras Barabash, he spoke about the state of affairs in the club and noted what tasks the “blue and white” are facing, which certainly have a future, despite the hype raised in the media.

We will be satisfied when the championship ends and we take first place according to its results. Today there are questions that are related to many factors. This is not only about the fact that certain players correspond or do not correspond to the level of the club. Game handwriting - whether there are any questions about it or not. External factors have a big influence, including yesterday’s hysteria (that the club is in danger of death), which also affects the psychology of the players. Generally speaking, the result is important, and the result so far is not what we would like in full. I would like the team to have a clear playing style, a confident first place with a good lead over their pursuers, and a stable financial position, so that each of the players knows that tomorrow there will be no financial problems for each of them. All these factors together influence the assessment of the situation.

- In October, the amount of Dynamo’s debt was announced - 13 billion rubles. Has it shrunk?

The amount of debt consisted of many obligations. We are talking about current financing, about obligations to creditors. This amount is subject to change. It changes due to the fact that some deals are closed and debts are paid off, including for the current maintenance of the team. On the other hand, new obligations are accumulating, which are associated with the fact that there are few sources of financing today. We are not in the best financial position. We are trying to restructure our relationships with major creditors, and it seems to me that we are finding understanding with each of them. I wouldn’t say that the team has no prospects.

- Does VTB Bank provide guarantees that the club will survive?

The main shareholder of the football club is VTB Bank and I have no doubt that the bank is interested in this for the club to survive. He has no intentions of liquidating or bankruptcy of the club. Here I have a good understanding and am in good contact with VTB Bank. It is clear that the bank does not distance itself from all the club’s problems.

- How would you define the current philosophy of FC Dynamo, its tasks? We see that the team is playing and achieving results now.

The goal is to enter the Premier League with a good performance, with which it would be possible to gain a foothold in the Premier League and progress. The emphasis will be and is being placed, first of all, on young players and students of our own academy, attracting new players who are just becoming stars today and in the future will become stars of domestic football. We are talking today about the formation of a completely new team, this process goes on every day. We are now preparing for the winter transfer window; in the spring we need to develop a squad that will play in the Premier League.

How long might it take Dynamo to return to the leading position in our football? It is clear that there are Moscow giants and Zenit, they are vying for the championship. How long does it take Dynamo to get back to this?

I think that it will take 2-3 years, no less, to become leaders of domestic football, so that it (the team) gets stronger and can subsequently set such ambitious goals as playing in the European Cup zone and participating in them. I really count on our youth, who are already showing good results, and I count on those guys who are on the team today. There are not many examples when players from a first league club played in the Russian national team. I really count on these guys and want to achieve ambitious goals together with him.

- Will the club unload the payroll? Due to what?

There are two ways. The first is parting with the players. The second is an approach to those players who would like to stay at the club, reducing requests due to the fact that today they would like to move on with the club.

- Kirill Panchenko was called up to the Russian national team, are you happy with this? It is important that he plays, since he was called up, and not sit on the bench. Otherwise, this can be regarded as real sabotage to the club.

As a football functionary, I, of course, am not very happy about his call to the national team, because we have very serious matches ahead in which we are counting on such a leader. Unfortunately, he will not be with us. For the team this is more of a minus than a plus. But as a person who talks about Russian football, and we have a World Cup ahead of us, at which our team must perform well, of course, for his professional growth, this call to the national team is important for Panchenko, and I understand it. According to the law, we could find an explanation why he would not go to the national team, but we met halfway (the leadership of the national team) and understand that this is important not only for him, but for all of Russian football.

The Dynamo general director gave the Soviet Sport observer his first big interview in his new position.

“GO BACK TO THE SKY, IT’S WARMER THERE”

The Dynamo office on Lesnaya Street in Moscow is shrouded in magic. The building itself is monumental, polished and granite. Inside, visitors are greeted by a machine selling newspapers and Dynamo magazine. The price is not indicated: either information is for strict official use, or any bill fed to the cabinet is a donation.

Next to the point of sale of white and blue media is the General Directorate of hunting and fishing farms "Dynamo". Works seven hours three days a week. That's right: you have to be on the other side of Putin and beat the beast.

The employees of the pass office are special guys. In strict black suits, white shirts, with the same looks. They study the passport not routinely, but inquisitively. And not the police, however, are more thoroughbred.

The wall clock in the reception room of 55-year-old general director of FC Dynamo Evgeniy Muravyov returns to eternal values by painting the dial. They declare, so to speak, continuity: from Edmundych to the joyful one today. “Our intelligence is the whole people, the enemy will not cross the border, and if he does, he will end up in Yezhov’s hands.” Why does this pop up in your head? Where did it get there?

But the conversation with the general director was different - football.

- How did you end up at Dynamo?
- Vladimir Strzhalkovsky, Chairman of the VFSO Dynamo, invited.

- Is it true that you worked under him at Norilsk Nickel?
- We met earlier: in the early 2000s, I worked in the administration of the Krasnodar region, and he was the head of a specialized federal structure. Then Vladimir Igorevich headed Norilsk Nickel and made an offer to become the head of the Kola Mining and Metallurgical Company, which I accepted. It was not easy, I had nothing to do with metallurgy before. In 2009 he came to Monchegorsk. The company is small compared to the Polar Branch of Norilsk Nickel, 18 thousand employees. In Kuban, the strawberries had just dried up, and there was snow there. Strzhalkovsky’s deputy says: “Be glad you weren’t sent to Norilsk.”

- Why is Norilsk worse?
- Climate. There is more snow, the frost is stronger. In the end, I was transferred there anyway. I flew on a charter for the first time, there was a display inside showing the temperature outside. Minus 35 - 37, something like that. We landed, the flight attendant said: “The temperature in Norilsk is minus 53, with the wind it feels like minus 61.” Immediate thought: return to the sky, it’s warmer there. The sun warms up the high air, but Norilskuv does not get any heat; there is no sun there for 60 days a year.

- What color is the snow in Norilsk and Monchegorsk?
- I saw the darkest ones in the Perm region, Solikamsk, Bereznyaki. The snow there is black - from coke. Monchegorsk is simply a lunar landscape. When ore is smelted, sulfur is released and it burns everything. And in Norilsk, even without emissions, nothing grows there. It’s still warmer in Monchegorsk: the Kola Peninsula gets a little bit of the Gulf Stream.

“THE CURRENT ONE IS STILL GREEN”

- Strzhalkovsky invited you to Dynamo as a universal manager?
- I dare to think - as a football person. We have been communicating for many years, he knows that I love football, that I supervised and headed Kuban. I didn’t play professionally myself, I was more involved in swimming. Football is so simple in appearance that many people think that they are well versed in it. Actually this is not true. I told the current leaders of Kuban: guys, you are still green, you are not ready to manage the club. Unfortunately, I was not heard.

- Where did you work after Norilsk Nickel and before Dynamo?
- He was engaged in business, headed a large company “Development-South”. In 2014, objects with a total area of over 300 thousand square meters were commissioned, such is the scale. And now we are implementing a number of large projects in the country.

- Did you have to give up brave deeds for Dynamo?
- To some extent, I had to. When the former Kuban governor Alexander Tkachev called me to head Kuban, I thought for two months, then I also had to combine it. And I did not receive a salary at the club until, at the request of licensing, I became a full-time employee.

- Apparently, there is something narcotic in football. Once they get into it, people try with all their might not to part with football.
- There is such a thing. It all started in 2003, when Kuban suddenly began to fail in the first division. Political leaders have their own goals. The governor set me the task of leading the team to the major leagues. Supervised for several years - completed the task, maintained the level. In 2014, he already headed the club as general director.

13 BILLION

- We’ll come back to Kuban, but now about Dynamo. 75 percent of the club's shares are in the hands of VTB, which, they say, wants to transfer these shares to the Dynamo Central Council. Right?
- VTB has such a desire.

- Why doesn’t the Central Council want to take shares?
- There are certain circumstances that make transfer difficult.

- According to my information, these circumstances are gigantic debts. Is it true that Dynamo’s debt to creditors is 13 billion rubles?
- A figure close to the real situation.

-Who accumulated these debts?
- Of course, not those who now run the club.

- The other day a message appeared: “Dynamo” paid off the salary arrears to the players by taking out another loan. Will you confirm?
- No. I am a principled opponent of loans in such a difficult period, although VTB has such an opportunity. The club put up its non-core asset for sale and, due to this, fulfilled its salary obligations.

- How did the bank react to this?
- He helped by expressing his readiness to buy this asset. The deal has not yet been completed, but the advance payment made it possible to pay off the debt to the players.

- What was the subject of sale?
- One of the office buildings that belonged to Dynamo. Not the main office, of course.

- What do you see as the correct model for managing the club, taking into account everything that is happening?
- Dynamo should be owned by a sole shareholder, it will be more logical and understandable for everyone. For strategy, for operational management - too. The Central Council is not yet able to fulfill a number of Dynamo’s obligations. Taking responsibility for the entire club in such realities is inappropriate. Therefore, we will act within the framework of existing shareholder agreements. There is a main shareholder - VTB, and we hope that in this difficult situation it will help Dynamo, as before.

- “Dynamo” should only VTB or someone else? The structures of the Rotenberg brothers, for example, one of whom led the club not so long ago?
- I'll leave this question unanswered.

- When does the agreement between the club and VTB expire?
- This is, rather, a memorandum concerning both the club and sports facilities in Petrovsky Park. As long as the project is not implemented, everything remains in force.

“OFFERED “KUBAN” TO GALITSKY

- Will the stadium be completed soon?
- Preliminarily - by 2018. The arena contains a number of innovative design solutions, which, I hope, will make it possible to compete in absentia with even the new Krasnodar stadium. For example, within the same walls there is a combined hockey and basketball hall for 12 thousand spectators and a football stadium for 26 thousand - such this has never happened before. Between these arenas there will be a glass-enclosed restaurant with visibility in both directions. There are other interesting solutions.

- Who will become the owner of the new stadium?
- A management company has been created to implement the project. The main shareholder there is VTB. But the Dynamo Central Council also participates.

- So, starting from the new year, nothing will change in VTB’s financing of Dynamo?
- The shareholder never undertakes to spend a specific amount. He has the right to decide, depending on the situation, how much to invest and whether to invest at all. Therefore, what VTB declares is probably correct. But it’s hardly acceptable to maintain life in the club.

- What does VTB declare?
- Significant reduction in funding volumes.

- And what should I do?
- That’s why club management exists, to solve problems.

-Is there an option in which the club itself owns the club's shares?
- Look around. There are a minimum number of successful private projects in Russia. CSKA is closest to self-sufficiency. There is also Galitsky, whom I have known for many years. I once offered him to take “Kuban”, he said: “It’s not interesting.” He had ambitions to build his own club from scratch, and he realized them through thorns. His stadium, as offensive as it may be to say, is a powerful blow to Kuban. A week later, the game “Krasnodar - Schalke”, all tickets were sold. When did Kuban have this? I can’t even remember when. What I mean is that the most effective manager is the owner himself; he treats his projects reasonably and realistically assesses the possibilities. This is why both CSKA and Krasnodar are successful today.

GAS TO FAILURE, AND WE'LL SEE THERE

- There are not many ways out of the financial impasse. Strictly speaking, there are two: sale of the club or bankruptcy. Which is more realistic?
- Of course, a change of shareholder would have a beneficial effect. But who in today’s situation is capable of joining Dynamo, accepting the existing obligations?

- They say there are people willing. The name is that of Ukrainian businessman Sergei Kurchenko, who lives in Russia and is related to the former President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych.
- Yes? Well, meet him and talk. Then I'll find out your opinion. The position: “Close all your debts and I’ll take over the club” is understandable. But why sell it when the debts are closed? Branding a brand and making money from it is not a new idea. I have no end to people who want to work at Dynamo. They are ready to risk their careers for the sake of a big name, because this is history, traditions. But before you hire someone, you need to solve the main problem, otherwise how will I look people in the eye?

- Why did you come to a project where everything is so complicated?
- I knew it was difficult, but I had no idea how much. I didn’t have this at Kuban. He left the club in 2015 with his debts completely covered. It was “Kuban” that did not pay me because it covered part of the obligations from its own funds. Now former players are threatening the club with legal action - and this seems crazy to me. That’s why I didn’t expect to encounter something like this at Dynamo. The only thing I don’t understand is why VTB didn’t put its general director in the club. After all, the bank is the main shareholder.

- The logic of your predecessors is interesting. They understood that the car was flying into the wall at enormous speed. And they didn’t turn the steering wheel.
- Moreover, players with crazy salaries signed. Now the wage fund is more than 20 million dollars. To FNL! In “Kuban” the entire budget was that much!

I WOULD LIVE TILL SPRING

- And what is the way out?
- There is only one way out. The sale of the asset will allow Dynamo to exist for some time, covering part of its obligations. If VTB fulfills its promises, perhaps we will hold out until spring. But non-radical steps will achieve little. It is necessary to look for a new shareholder as soon as possible, or bankruptcy. Strictly speaking, if the club goes bankrupt today, then this is a consequence of the decisions of the previous management, its responsibility. But the events that will happen in six months are my responsibility. That's why I'm looking for solutions now.

- So the only way out is bankruptcy?
- Until March, I must find ways to improve the financial situation. This is the way out.

- In case of bankruptcy, Dynamo faces amateur status. But for infrastructure reasons, the team may be allowed into the second division.
- There is no need to get ahead of ourselves. There are problems, but there is also a desire to finally solve them, and not accumulate them.

- Are you planning to simplify the payroll?
- Goal number one. They usually don’t leave us on their own, but life demands it.

-Do many of your contracts end in the summer?
- There are such highly paid ones that we have to wait for almost two more years.

- Did Denisov’s departure to Lokomotiv help Dynamo breathe a little easier?
- Partly. We continue to pay him half of his previous salary.

- In recent interviews with your former sports director Roman Oreshchuk, Yuri Belkin, a construction director, appears, whom Oreshchuk endows with demonic qualities. What is Dynamo building?
- The plans were and remain to build an academy on Leningradskoye Highway. For now we are renting space in Luzhniki, but this is not entirely convenient. Yuri Nikolaevich has been working in the club for many years, we are building joint work. I don’t want to comment on Oreshchuk’s words.

- Is the former head of VFSO Dynamo Vladimir Pronichev related to the club now?
- He remains the chairman of the board of directors, which includes two representatives of VTB and three of the sports society. The structure is still working, participating in certain decisions.

-Who will become the sports director at Dynamo instead of Oreshchuk?
- For now, this position will be vacant. Now is not the time for serious shopping.

450 MILLION IS NOT ENOUGH, 100 IS GOOD

- Let's go back to Kuban. Looking from the outside, you can get confused about its curators in recent years.
- Since 2003, I have been in charge of the team. Then this responsibility passed to other regional leaders - first to Nikolai Doluda, then to Ivan Peronko.

- “Chernomorets” went bankrupt under you?
- With me. Moreover, funds had already been found; Chernomorets could be saved. But the head of the PFL Nikolai Tolstykh, on formal grounds, insisted on bankruptcy. Man of principle.

- Have you invited Oleg Mkrtchan to Kuban?
- It happened that way, yes. Oleg Deripaska lost interest in financing the club, his management left, a vacuum was emerging. We knew Mkrtchan, he is from Armavir. We were sitting next to each other at an event, and I told him: “Why are you funding the Donetsk club, but the non-Krasnodar club? Help Kuban. How? First, give me some money." He replied that he wouldn’t just let it happen, but he wouldn’t mind managing. A meeting took place with Governor Alexander Tkachev, Mkrtchan became a shareholder of Kuban. And the period of his reign was perhaps the most effective for Kuban.

- Did Mkrtchan receive business preferences that the region promised him in return?
- Received.

- They say not in full.
- The region has fulfilled its obligations. The rest is best commented on by Oleg Artushevich himself. By the way, his football business in Kuban was successful when it comes to buying and selling football players. Thanks to the very competent breeding manager Sergei Doronchenko, the project paid off.

- “Kuban” will turn 90 in two years. Why does the club still have nothing but a bus, a name and the obligation to pay endlessly?
- “Kuban” had different periods. And the success of the 80s, and the oblivion of the 90s. In the early 2000s, there was a new rise, but all club assets were sold, including the base in Chetuka. The stadium, which belonged to the trade unions, and another base, which was owned by Rosneft (it was built by Ivan Panenko, who was at one time the president of the club), became the property of the regional administration. I bought the training fields into the ownership of the club. Kuban also owned 40 hectares of land allocated by the region in the area of Old Kuban for the construction of a new base. Some money was even invested there under Mkrtchan. That's all the assets. Of which the main one, of course, is the players.

- What happened to the 40 gazellas in the end?
- When Krasnodar was still preparing for the World Cup, it became clear: the non-existent base was too far from the non-existent stadium. Plans have changed. In 2014, I wanted to buy the land as a private individual and offered 450 million rubles. It was said - not enough. Then there seemed to be talk about an academy, but in the end, 40 hectares, in my opinion, were given to the bank for 100 million to secure another loan.

“GIVE THE MONEY, I’M GOING”

- Explain how the Kuban base on Chetuka became the Krasnodar base?
- Sergey Galitsky bought out its participants, who purchased the base from the club.

- These same people, if I’m not mistaken, managed the club: Peronko, Panenko and Vladimir Sereda.

- How interesting: whoever manages what has it. Do you have the feeling that the current management of Kuban is preparing it for bankruptcy?
- You know, I left the club on my own initiative. I told the current governor, a man who is not much of a football player: he must either give the club to Mkrtchan entirely, abdicating responsibility, or remove him entirely from there. Mkrtchan has not invested in Kuban for the last two years, but has actually wiped it out. As a result, the empty shell would burst on its own. And it bursts, as we see. “Give me my money, I’m off,” I told them all at the decisive meeting. And a lot of money. I received a promise - in a month. Almost two years have passed since then. I deliberately did not comment in the press and watched the outcome. Unfortunately, the ending looks as expected. Nevertheless, I sincerely wish Kuban good luck and skill in getting out of the current situation.

- They say that the club's leased Audis are sold out at a ridiculous price?
- Heard. At one time, I bought them from the leasing company, and the cars became the property of the club. Now they are sold out.

- And almost a hundred to two hundred thousand per car. Interesting advertisements have already begun to appear on automobile websites.Everything looks a little farewell.
- A year ago, the new curator of the club, Andrei Korobka, asked to consult him on a football topic. I said that I myself did not begin to understand the specifics right away; in the first year there were also mistakes. But it would be an even bigger mistake if the region retains its leadership presence in the club. Another option is to remove Mkrtchan, even if the procedural transfer of shares is a tedious process. There was no third way. But in “Kuban” they tried to find him: they began to wait until everything was decided by itself.

- Is the possibility of the appearance of a “Kuban” Galitsky excluded?
- There were people willing to enter the club with their money. But some were not satisfied with the need to share shares with someone, others lacked the courage. The reasons in both cases are not so much economic as political.

- Does this also apply to the current triumphant president of the handball federation, Sergei Shishkarev?
- A year ago he had a desire. I told him: he needs to be in time. We didn’t have time: “Kuban” lost Tkachev and Ignatiev. How could they be given away for free given the club’s huge debts? The total cost of both is five million dollars, no less. Pay them what you owe, just don’t let them go, it’s simply unprofitable! The result is no players, no money. Someone really wanted to bring the situation to a critical point.

THINK FOR YOURSELF

- I heard complaints from people close to Mkrtchan about the dubious transfer of Ivelin Popov to Spartak.
- This is my deal. And the most transparent of all club ones. What Spartak paid is exactly what the club received - 6 million. Moreover, it is the club, and not someone else. It was impossible to sell Popova at a higher price on that market; we had to waste time and wait several months. And how much, by the way, is Popov worth now? Mkrtchan himself encountered something similar when selling Melgarejo. I wanted to get more, but it didn’t work out. Selling Popov, Kabore and Belenov was the only way to save the team. Provided that we can save everyone else. “Kuban” would have easily finished the season without losing its place in the elite.

- I’ve heard about Sosnin’s transfer to Dynamo: the player signed a Moscow contract, already having a Krasnodar one in hand, with Kuban. And this is prohibited.
- Incorrect information. Sosnin had a preliminary agreement, which later ceased to be such: at the final stage they did not agree on the conditions. Therefore, he left for Dynamo legally.

- If Popov’s deal is the most transparent, then the rest...
- Guess for yourself. In addition to Popov, they are ready to vouch for the transfer of Ureña. I don’t want to comment on anything else. But Kozlov, Ozbilis, Traore... Was it possible to provide the club with a well-fed life with the money raised? Think for yourself. However, what are we all about “Kuban”? Today I work at Dynamo, I am aimed at the development of the club and the Society, I see clear and tangible goals for myself. I hope my experience and qualifications will be in demand here at Dynamo.

Materials about the activities of the ex-vice-governor of Kuban, the ex-general director of FC Kuban in the post of general director of FC Dynamo were transferred to law enforcement agencies.

Evgeny Muravyov

As Yugopolis reported, at the March 14 meeting of the board of directors of JSC Dynamo Moscow Football Club, the issue of early termination of the powers of General Director Evgeny Muravyov was considered. By the decision of the board of directors, he also lost his position in the structure of the main founder of the organization - the All-Russian Physical Culture and Sports Society (VFSO) "Dynamo", where until recently he was the manager of the financial and property block.

Claims against Muravyov arose due to the transfer of 27-year-old defender Konstantin Rausch from Cologne. It cost Dynamo 1.5 million euros, which the club paid to Cologne, plus 1 million 250 thousand euros in commission paid to the accounts of the Golden Toys company.

The transactions were carried out without the approval of the board of directors. Having examined the text of the agreement and made inquiries, the commission saw the affiliation of Muravyov and the people behind “Golden Toys”.

Chairman of the VFSO Dynamo Vladimir Strzhalkovsky commented to Izvestia on the resignation of Evgeny Muravyov.

He said that Konstantin Rausch had nothing to do with the situation that arose, they simply covered themselves with his name.

“Konstantin testified, made all the necessary explanations - there are no questions for him personally,” said Strzhalkovsky.

Answering the question about what then connected Muravyov’s resignation, he explained:

« This has nothing to do with Rausch - it has to do with Muravyov himself. And with his activities. Materials on his activities are already in law enforcement agencies. The consequences will be very serious. Such as, I think, have not been seen in our football since the Soviet period.”

As Yugopolis reported, former vice-governor of the Krasnodar Territory Evgeny Muravyov, who previously also held the post of general director of FC Kuban, became general director of FC Dynamo Moscow in September 2016.

While Muravyov worked as deputy head of the region, his responsibilities included issues of economic development and investment. In July 2015, Muravyov found himself at the center of a criminal scandal. According to investigators, one of the local entrepreneurs turned to Muravyov for assistance in implementing an investment project. As a reward, the businessman, according to law enforcement agencies, gave an apartment in Gelendzhik to Evgeniy Muravyov’s relative, but the official, according to the prosecution, did not fulfill his promises. Muravyov did not admit guilt.

The head of the financial and economic block of the Dynamo Society, General Director of FC Dynamo-Moscow, Evgeny Muravyov, gave an interview to the official website after returning from the International Sports Forum “Russia - a Sports Power”.

- Evgeniy Ivanovich, tell us how you came to Dynamo.
- As you know, on September 8, at an extraordinary conference, Vladimir Strzhalkovsky was elected as the new chairman of the Dynamo Society. Initially, he made an offer to join the Central Council of the Dynamo Society, and subsequently to head the football club. And the board of directors of FC Dynamo approved me for the position of general director.

- What can you say about the period of work in Kuban?

I remember that stage with warmth. The team did a lot, Kuban knocked out Feyenoord in European competition, reached the group stage of the Europa League, and brought the same Valencia to Krasnodar. I remember well the festive atmosphere that reigned at the stadium. “Kuban” has always been one of the most visited teams in the RFPL. During my work as general director, we reached the final of the Russian Cup for the first time. In the championship, however, for a number of objective reasons, we ended the season not as confidently as we started. But everything is learned by comparison. Now, unfortunately, the club can only dream about those results. I hope that Kuban fans have positive memories of the period of our work. I wish the Krasnodar residents to overcome all current difficulties and return to the RFPL.

- Recently, “Dynamo” just met with “Kuban”...
- I think that it turned out to be a very interesting meeting, and in terms of the game “Kuban” looked no worse than many of our club’s other opponents. This confirms the opinion that Krasnodar should be located much higher in the table. Dynamo had to do without four strikers at once: Panchenko and Bechirai left for national teams, Lutsenko and Pogrebnyak were unable to play due to injuries. But there is a growing change in Dynamo: the double won gold twice, the senior age of the Academy are Russian champions, and are now participating in the UEFA Youth Champions League. 19-year-old Obolsky came out in attack and played actively. In the end, the team's performance may not have been very bright, the score was minimal, but the confidence in the victorious result did not leave.

- You mentioned Panchenko - by a large margin the best scorer of the FNL, who is called from the first division to the Russian national team. Fans dream that Dynamo will sign a full contract with Kirill instead of the current lease agreement.
- We would like this too, but there are many nuances. How, for example, does Panchenko himself see his future? Our goal is for players of this level - the level of the national team - to dream of playing for Dynamo. We are striving for this, we are working on it. From Panchenko’s actions on the field it is clear that he is comfortable at Dynamo, he emphasizes this in an interview. Time will tell how the situation will turn out. At least we have a desire to keep Kirill with us.

- What can you say in general about Dynamo’s performance this season?
- It’s great that the coaching staff managed to create a healthy team, everyone is united by one goal, working for the team. Plus a class of football players, most of whom played in the Premier League. The result is a confident position in the standings, which naturally makes us very happy. It is clear that the level of competition in the FNL is lower than in the RFPL, however, even in the first division you cannot beat anyone half-heartedly. There is a reserve of points in the table, but we cannot rest on our laurels for a minute. And in terms of gaming, there is room to grow. We must work on winter selection today so that tomorrow is not too late. Competitors are not asleep.

- With the sports component it’s clear. And in what economic condition did they find Dynamo?
- Things are a little more complicated here. However, this could be expected: when everything is good, the leaders are not changed. The task before us is not easy, I will not hide the fact that certain problems have accumulated. But in Russia, football clubs have not yet reached the break-even level, so many are experiencing difficulties to a greater or lesser extent, we are not alone. The first issue that had to be resolved was salary arrears. This is a very serious topic, a lot of work has been done, and now I can say with a calm soul: Dynamo has no salary debts. We are resolving issues of further financing.

- What is the relationship between FC Dynamo and VTB Bank?
- VTB is a very reliable partner who always fulfills its obligations. This is our general sponsor and owner of 75 percent of the club's shares. As Vladimir Strzhalkovsky already said in a recent interview, we do not plan to refuse such a serious sponsor.

- You just returned from the VI International Forum “Russia is a Sports Power”. What is the most important thing to note from this forum?
- First of all, everything is important. There should be no trifles in sports, as in life. Everything must be handled responsibly. The forum was dedicated to the development of physical culture and sports in Russia for the period until 2030. It’s good that the country’s President Vladimir Putin, who made a speech at it, does not remain aloof from sports problems. Support at this level is simply necessary for our sport, especially in light of the planned change in the structure of the Ministry of Sports, and this is one of the fundamental issues. It is especially important for us to understand that the voiced position on the role of sports societies in the country imposes additional responsibility on us. After all, Dynamo is the largest society in Russia, with enormous traditions and history. It is the societies that should be given a key role in the management of the sports industry, and through them the work on the ground should be carried out. However, this is the topic of the Chairman of the Dynamo Society, Vladimir Strzhalkovsky.

- Let's get back to the football business. What goals would you like to achieve with Dynamo?
- For the current season they are clear and do not require additional discussion. Of course, a club like Dynamo is obliged to play in the Russian Premier League, we must solve this problem this season, and advance as far as possible in the Russian Cup. Given a successful combination of circumstances, I don’t see anything impossible in winning this trophy. As for further goals, we will see what kind of team we can assemble and what the amount of funding will be. Dynamo is a legendary club in Russian football, it should at least play in European competitions. This is where our efforts will be directed.

- The previous management said that the team was expected to meet with fans and that Dynamo could play home matches at the new CSKA stadium. Do you have any plans for this?
- I know that a meeting with fans has not been held for several years. Now there are some global questions for which we are looking for answers. Without them, such meetings will contain only slogans and unsubstantiated promises. To date, our deeds and the team's positive results should convince fans that we are on the right track. I would like to hold the meeting after the winter break, when the team returns from training camp. I hope the fans will support the guys and give them another impetus to finish this season with dignity. As for the CSKA stadium, there were probably reasons previously to promise that our team would move from Khimki to the army stadium. However, the economic situation in the club does not allow it. Renting the CSKA stadium will cost us significantly more than the Khimki Arena. I urge Dynamo fans to treat this with understanding.

- What else would you say to our fans?

I would like to thank everyone for supporting the team during this difficult period in the FNL. And I wish you to fill the stands even more actively. Dynamo is waiting to return to its home - Petrovsky Park. The roof of a luxurious stadium is already being erected there; we expect it to become the most comfortable in the country. But even now the team really needs support at the matches in Khimki. It is easier to achieve victories together.
